Rebecca: As long as you don't use this shortly after someone has been outside in the sun, I have found this to be a very accurate thermometer. And so much quicker and easier to use on my baby.

InvPropInvProp: This Braun thermometer is NOT reliable. I have purchased and used several different Braun No Touch Forehead Thermometers over the past 15 years. This is the first one that has failed. I bought this Braun No Touch Forehead Thermometer from Amazon at the end of July 2022 for my son who is attending college over 1,400 miles away from home. It has been 6 months since I bought the thermometer. My son is sick and was not able to rely on this Braun thermometer as it showed his temperature at 105.7°F, 104.8°F., and 106.3°F. Please see my two photos. My son replaced the thermometer's batteries with new batteries that were purchased yesterday. The Braun thermometer continued to give false high readings with the new batteries. My son tested other students in his dorm with his Braun thermometer and one showed a temp of 103.1°F and another a temp of 101.3°F and they are not sick. My son then used a friend’s oral digital thermometer on himself and it read 100.5°F. The failure of the Braun thermometer is very upsetting for me as a parent. I thought that I bought a quality piece of equipment that would be reliable for my son to use while he is away at college, far from home. I will not...

Ann Hand: So handy! I tend to take the temperature 3 times to get a good reading, but it seems quite accurate. I like that I can pop in during the night and take my little girls temperature without waking her. I’ve been using this for 3 years now and definitely recommend it
