Jason sly: Set up working fine. Come back to check 1 hour later, not running. Will not start.

Lisa Yrigollen: Bought for 10 gal. tank. Not sure this is going to work well enough to keep it. I like that it’s compact, but it may be too small. Water flow output is very small, so not much water can come out, plus I noticed a lot of water was overflowing the filters. Im thinking this water filter can’t catch much debris if the flow passing is slow and narrow, actual filters are small and allow water to overflow the filters, rather than pass through them, but we will see. Another thing is I wish is the intake tube to be much longer or have extra sections to lengthen if wanted.

lauren white opitz: The product works well and is a cute little filter, but I have a few minor complaints:
1. The power cord is too short - IMO should be about 20-30% longer.
2. The hanging space for the filter has difficulty fitting over the wide lip of a standard Aqueon aquarium. I had to cut the lip a little and shove the filter down to get it to sit flat.
Still, this is a good product at a very low price so I can’t be too mad. I will probably not replace the filter cartridge and cut a coarse sponge to fit in the slot, further reducing the price in the long run.

Katelynn: Super easy set up and ability to change any media without any hassle. Love that it came with a sponge for the intake. Noise level of the filter itself is on the quiet end and is what you’d expect from a HOB option. There’s enough space to add in activated carbon media without opening up any filter like they show in the video.
The tab to help stabilize the filter on the glass (at the bottom of the unit on the exterior of the tank) helps with the noise reduction as well. The tab on mine doesn’t stay at the position I placed it over time (semi-expected that, tbh, as the filter does vibrate a bit as it should) but the tab falls out when I go to adjust it - which is a pain especially since I have an aquarium that’s up and running.
The flow intake adjustment is a good idea but I really don’t see any difference when I adjust mine and it’s just an extra space to clean - but does give easier access to do the cleaning.
I also purposely bought a larger filter than needed for my tank (10 gal.) and the flow is quite strong so I’ve made a homemade baffle to help redirect the intensity.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase minus the stabilizing tab...

Fritz: My other filter airgration went out on my three days ago, and then to make matters worse I couldn't get the car started to go to the Pet store to pick up a new one, so in the meantime, I started manually providing air to the water by dipping a cup into fish water and then pouring the same water back into the tank many times a day and night, I was worried that I would be losing some fish especially the fry's. The fish started showing some stress late last nigh, the snails were going up the sides of the tank and I thought for sure this morning my fish would be dead, they were struggling to breath...a neighbor suggested that I order from amazon for at which I did, at first I wasn't sure about this little filter pump, read all of the reviews pro's and con's and decided the heck with it and order it yesterday evening, this evening it had arrived just in time and I was able to save all of my fish and only some of my snails. I have a 10-gallon tank and this little guy surely is putting out really good, the water has finally clear up and no longer looking like fish pee tea. Now I will wait to see how long this little guy will last. I wasn't expecting it to be so small however in...

Brian Thorp: I had to carefully wash and rinse all of the foam - it smelled like scented trash bags or pine air freshener and I'm allergic to both and I'm sure its not good for the fish in my small tank. Day 1 - we'll see if I have everything in my tank perish or not.
