Frog: First face-paint kit, and I can see what some of the reviewers mean.

The paint is a bit thin, light on pigment, whatever you want to call it. You gotta go over it a few times. This really can slow down the pace if you're using this at a party with a bunch of kids. It's fine for a small kids party and some amateur skills, where no one cares too much if the butterfly is a semi-transparent blue. But it's not making the super vivid artwork you see in the stock photos.

Flimsy box doesn't bother me as some reviewers complain - it's just a box for keepign it in a drawer or cupboard.

MiJu: I bought ths to face paint at a children's bday party and it was difficult to apply. Very dry and I found that the colors didn't pop out very much.. .I had to put extra layers for them to appear.. I don't know if it's because it was brown skin.. J'ai acheté pour une fête d'enfants.Les couleurs ne ressortaient pas assez et il fallait mettre plusieurs couches. Je ne sais pas si c'est le fait que c'était pour la peau foncée. Les poils des pinceaux se sont brisés assez vite auss. Je vais chercher un meilleur kit

Kat: First time face-painter, used the set for my 4yo niece's party. Beautiful range of colours! The sponges were very useful, particularly the finger sponges for adding base colour. The glitter and jewels were great too. Didn't end up using the templates but knew I had them to fall back on if needed. Two things about the rainbow split-cake weren't ideal: 1) the colours weren't evenly proportioned. Lots of red and little green 2) the wide brush that came with the set didn't reach the width of the split-cake so I used the triangular sponge, which was fine. In saying that, I did use the rainbow and it worked! Although, I had to enhance a little of the blue and green with some extra paint using a brush, to balance the colours. I also bought some more round brushes as these were needed for the styles I wanted to paint. I had to practice before the main event in order to work out the right consistency for the paint to look thick and colourful. Minimal water is best, needs to be creamy. Overall, 5/5 for the price, I loved using this set and loved that it had pretty much everything I needed and more!

Mariana S.: I got this for an event at church, so nothing professional. The pallet is quite complete. The only thing it lacks is the color red, there's a dark orange, two different pinks but no red. Besides the little red on the rainbow stripe. Beushes are okay. Haven't tried the hair dying but that must be fun too.
Haven't tried on sensitive skin. I would recommend.
