Hopmeister: The first one had a small air leak on Christmas morning. ...Not the end of the world since it was quickly replaced, but it was a bit of a let-down on Christmas. -It was probably more of a letdown for me, since I had to deal with three separate returns of faulty items after Christmas. I'm getting tired of marginally-engineered foreign items, but that is the world we live in and I can handle it psychologically. This ball actually seems to be made pretty well though, as he beat the tar out of the original (never leaked more than the original slow leak that took several hours to deflate to the point of uselessness), and the new one.

My son was OK with it on Christmas morning, because we don't raise him like a snowflake, don't tell him that he is the center of the universe, and he understands that the world and everything in it is not always perfect. He just inflated it again whenever he wanted to use it, until the new one arrived. No big deal.

Another societal implosion averted. Perhaps I should have lashed out at Amazon and the manufacturer on a psychotic tirade like way too many people do when something isn't quite right. After all, this is...

Kathleen Bristol: Great ball for my grandson, It provides exercise as well as fun. I bought 3 of these in 3 different colors as gifts for my grandchildren. They were all from this same company. I am extremely Happy with these balls. The children play on them at least 2 hours daily, then I notice that they are even sitting on them to watch TV. This ball appears to be well made , it's quite sturdy, and gets a lot of abuse daily. (jumping on, bouncing on, swinging at and hitting at the other hopper balls. This one is a great Bright Red. It arrived on time , and well packaged, with an accompanying pump. Pumped up quickly and easy. The price is reasonable, The children are truly enjoying them.

Mrs. L. J. Dunn: Got this smaller version hopper for my 7 year old. She was a bit gutted there weren't as many colours as the adult ones which was a shame..especially hated the clown but that's just me. It's great quality and has taken a good beating by my daughter. She likes to win! Hours of fun for a really good price.

M. Miller: Since these hopper balls were so well priced, I bought two of them to add to the entertainment at my 5 yr. olds B-day party. They were a huge hit w/ the kids! Although the recommended age is 7-9, the 5 yr. olds did just fine (as well as a few 7-9 yr. olds). The material was sturdy (held up very well to vigorous bouncing even with some of the kids being over 50 lbs.)- but it can only withstand a very smooth, nearly debris free surface outside. Shortly after being used outside, one has become a little deflated- it must have hopped over a jagged pebble or small stick.They are great indoors- if you have the space.
