MB-feedback: Covered zippers are great. It would be good to have some structure to hold the bag open when packing and strapping down, but its not a box/is a bag , so.. that's a face-value fact. Making a pvc pipe frame for the inside would be fine ,as others have clearly done, but when its time to strap it down nice and tight, it would very likely bend/disconnect such a thing. I believer there are 6 tie-downs,, which is good. The cargo bag comes in a small carrying case, but you wont ever be able to fold it back up as neatly and small as when you first open it. This is pretty much the perfect size (footprint) for the specific fold-down cargo basket that we have. All said; its definitely worth getting.

easy to unzip to load. copied the idear from a previous commenter and made a frame of 20mm conduit and push fit joiners keeps the bag in shape,and easy to strap on with elastic strap hooks. we leave the bag on site with items to made parking easier when we leave site

arleenarleen: After researching for hours, I decided on this cargo bag which fit PERFECTLY in my 48"L x 22"W hitch carrier for my Jeep Wrangler - it wasn't too narrow or too wide. Because I didn't want it to be a floppy 'ole bag, I followed Johnny B.'s review and built an internal frame using 3/4 PVC pipe (4 - 44" for the length, 8 - 18" for width and height, 8 - 3way corner fittings). The cost of the PVC pipe and the racheting PVC cutter was a fraction of purchasing an already made frame - not to mention the satisfaction of cutting and assembling it myself = enormous! Once assembled, it appears to have a lot of room for my medium-sized suitcase and a 12-gallon tub with plenty of room in height for perhaps a larger suitcase and other items. I got confused with the straps (still figuring them out) so I bought some rachet tie-ins (still figuring those out too) to make sure everything will be secure. I like that the bottom corners are reinforced and that the top flap covering the zipper appears to be wide enough to keep the elements at bay.
