Walter WolfgrammWalter Wolfgramm: So this stapler works great for lots of papers BUT for just a couple pieces not so great. 90% of the time I use this stapler to staple thermal paper receipts to one piece of paper. For the first couple months it worked good but about 3 months and this started happening.

J. Busse: Very satisfying thunk when it staples. Not the gear grinding sound of some. And it cinches the staple well on two sheets as well as 40. But there are no guides so you have to guess where to insert (I used a magic marker and made a guide line, easy to do but kind of tacky.) There are faint groves on the base plate but they are so hard to see, and are angled so they really don't help much. Easy to put staples in. My box came with all strips broken. Suction cups may work if you mount it on glass or formica that is non porous, Mostly they are just a soft mount that allows the unit to wiggle making it a bit more difficult to find the line to staple on. I haven't had this very long so I can not write to the longivity. Others seem to think it lasts a long time. That will be good.

Slimkim: This seems like a good strong and sturdy Electric Stapler but it smelled like something electric was burning so I had to send it back cause I was afraid it might or could start a fire. I'm sure I just got a defective one so I might try to purchase another one but I might go to an Office Supply store to check it out 1st before I purchase it.

sarah gayer: The product is good but it arrived in a torn-up box taped up. I was not sure if it had been a used item or not. Not wrapped at all and the box of staples that was included the stapes were all broken. There were no documents or anything from Amazon or from anyone included.

Kathy Johnston: I bought this stapler May of 2020 worked for six months then DIED. I put in a warranty claim and received a new one (I think) and didn't even last a month, cartridge jambed, got that loose then stopped working tried sewing machine oil no good. Not even going to bother with Warranty claim if that's all I'll get

Jon Bradley: OK...it has only been a week...but stapler set-up quickly and sits at the back of my desk. I will have to get used to the 'sticky' feet, but I can live with that feature. This stapler does not have a bunch of (mostly useless features on other high end electric staplers) adjustments; such as, staple width from top of page, and the like. It is an efficient stapler that definitely deals with 8+ pages (the most I have stapled up to this point) quickly and easily. Will see how stapler performs over the next couple of months; however, as of now, a definite keeper!
Update after two weeks: Still functioning well; easily deals with 25 sheets at a time and staples are cleanly through and secure. Have become used to the sleek thin black coloured look of the machine and its footprint on desk is not at all overwhelming.
Died in September 2017. Machine did not die from over use or abuse; rather, it simply stopped working. No amount of love and care could bring it back so this expensive electric stapler did not make it to a second birthday. Purchase for the short term with the clear understanding that this Bostitch is not in for the long haul.
