Anna Murphy: I use this to "glue" down anything breakable such as lamps, vases and other breakables. Before I discovered blu tack many lamps, plant pots, vases and precious items were broken. My house was void of breakables. But this works so perfectly perfect that now I can enjoy all my precious breakables and love my cats too. I recently moved across country and (of course) took my cats with me in the car. They had nice big roomy crates and I used blu tack to hold their food and water in place so it would not spill while driving.

Han Yan Yoong: Wow! What can I say? It's blue, pliable, malleable, sticky, tacky, stretchy and not harmful to children or the cognitively impaired.
This product exceeded all of my wildest expectations. As soon as I took it out of its packaging, I felt at one with the universe. The ''blue tac'' has redefined the word elation in my own present vocabulary. Might it be said that I am indeed a 'tac' aficionado, but this product is the only of its sort that you will ever require in your life. It will fix just about anything you need it to.
The former marvels of engineering, WD40, duct tape and Blue Tac have now become the modern day, contemporary holy trinity.

Y. R. Wu: While I can recall people using this to mount posters on their walls 30 years ago in college, I really only discovered it myself about 10 years ago. I've yet to find a surface that it didn't stick to or left a permanent mark on. If it doesn't stick sufficiently well, I knead it a bit and use more. Here are some of the uses I've come up with:
Holding small parts together for gluing
Making a instant phone stand on my airplane tray table
Blocking light from a LED on a TV in a hotel room
Holding parts together for soldering
Sealing a leaky rain barrel
Preventing a nail from slipping into drywall (hanging a clock)
Cushioning the bottom corners of framed pictures to the wall
Holding my headphone wire to my desk
Securing my cellphone charger wire to the nightstand
Fidget-type toy at my desk when I'm on the phone
Blocking open the leg out on an easel so it doesn't close
Hiding a spare key at my desk
Lowering the volume on a buzzer
Routing phone charger wires in my leased car
Sealing a hole in the roof of a birdhouse
Preventing silverware trays in a drawer from sliding
And of course, holding posters to walls
the other 900+...

Bellesmom: This is some amazing stuff! I don't use it as an adhesive but as a kneaded eraser for my drawing. I knead it & stretch & twist it till it is soft & pliable, then form it to the shape I need. Sometimes a teardrop, ball, a flattened teardrop. or I will pinch a thin edge, next I press it to the graphite lifting out the amount necessary creating the lightened effect I am going for. It works much better that the kneaded erasers available at any of the local art stores. I have also used it as a putty to hold delicate items in place in my display cabinet, so it is very effective for it's intended purpose, I just by far love it as a drawing tool. I keep a separate piece to use for colored pencil or watercolor. You will want to be sure that the watercolor is completely dry before you try lifting any color out & I have never tried to use it with oil pastels or paints & I really wouldn't recommend it for this. My preferred use is for graphite. I have found that I am able to lift anywhere from just a shade or two, all the way back to white and when the piece becomes dirty looking you simply stretch & knead, pulling & reballing it back to its original color making...

Kramer1: Use this for anchoring speakers and to decrease vibration. Also great for many other uses, it's thick and will hold for long periods of time. Works well and no weird odor, which is nice.
