Bossman's All-Natural Beard Balm for Stress-Free Grooming

M. Hamilton: My husband has been using this product for a few years now. He likes that it is unscented and smoothes his coarse mustache and beard. The only issue is that some of the balms have arrived in a more dried out state. Not sure if this is because it is older product being housed in a warehouse or if it is a manufacturing issue. This has happed twice now. Adding a bit of water doesn’t really help. My husband has resorted to scooping out a small amount and then microwaving for a few seconds to increase the pliability. He’s used other beard products from the same brand without issue. Hopefully, this is just a fluke. It’s on the pricier side. I am giving the product 4 stars because it’s a good product overall. I am just hoping that the next balm we order is not dried out.

Dougie B: The beard balm I received was not in the new style black tin that the seller has used in the picture. I'm not sure when Bossman began using new packaging but the balm I received had to have been at least a few years old. It smelled stale in the tin and on my beard. Couldn't wear it and had to return. Bossman has great product but not when it's expired. Buyer be ware.

Darryl: Here's the only thing I dislike about this product: the scent doesn't last more than a few hours. With other products, I can catch random whiffs throughout most of the day, but not so with this one.

When I first opened the tin, my wife was with me and we both caught citrus scents as the main note, and we both loved it. My son picked up the woodsy scent right away and liked it. My daughter thought it had a woodsy-smokey smell and didn't care for the in-tin scent. Both my wife and daughter think that the in-beard scent profile changes and they like the fact that it is a light, enjoyable scent. For the first few minutes after application, the citrus notes seem to come out, and the woodsy notes follow. For guys who want to buy something that their wife and daughters will also enjoy smelling while remaining distinctly manly, I don't think you will go wrong here.

My favorite beard balm company is no more and I'd decided to get a head start on my beard before the cold seasons come around.
