Hank Charleston: Now I'm usually not into knives like this if it's not automatic or at the very least spring assisted than I probably don't care about it but there was just something about this knife that caught my eye and for months I researched it and researched it adding it to my cart then taking it away over and over every review seemed different some people said it was solid and razor sharp others said it was flimsy and dull so over the Christmas season when I got some amazon gift cards I decided what the heck and bought it now first off the box is absolutely gorgeous for display and is very nice most people don't care about that but it's important to me now the knife itself in terms of looks is absolutely stunning even if you'll never use this you can just adore its beauty now as for performance its wonderful now the fact that this knife is not spring assisted is insane its faster and smoother than a ton of spring assisted knives that's one thing every reviewer agreed on and it's very true as for lockup its has 0 wiggle room both side to side and front and back my $120 Gerber Covert has blade play but this $60 Urban Trapper doesn't the lock itself is solid but not so solid...

OK it's been awhile since my last update. I've really grown to like this knife. After much flipping and use, any sign of lock-stick is gone. Has settled in at about 50% lockup and is just a pleasure to use.
No regrets on this purchase. If you don't mind spending a little time working it, well worth the price.

02/18/17 update.
I've been working this knife like crazy from the time I received it until now. I don't know if the blade lock-up issue has anything to do with the frame lock being titanium and the blade being stainless steel or, just a bad grind on one of the two. Regardless, the blade and lock are finally wearing in and although it's still not perfect, I believe it will continue to get better as its used and will start to lock a little deeper, which it needs to do to be a safe, secure lock up.
So, at this point I'm adding that one star back. I still really like this knife and am currently using it as my daily carry. It's a very thin, lightweight knife with a very usable sized blade.
