Must use cleaning comb provided tp rwmove hairs as prdinary comb cpuld damage the plastic tips.

jknew: If you have thin or fine hair then you know what it’s like to brush you hair after you’ve been in the wind. I used to have to wash my hair and use conditioner so I can even brush it. I had to wash my hair on a daily basis which weighed my hair down with no bounce or body to it. My granddaughter used to cry when you tried to put a brush through her hair, but now? Not at all! When her momma calls her to come get her hair brushed she doesn’t immediately start crying. Love this brush!

Couture1: I bought one for myself and was so in love with it that I bought one for my granddaughters. Like me, they have very long curly hair that knots easily. This just glides through the knots with very little tugging and less hair loss. My daughter did not believe how good this brush is until she tried it for herself and she too loves it. It comes in a great little box, great for gifting, with instructions which I thought was a little strange. But once read, they make sense. I would recommend this brush to anyone, and I already have. It is truly amazing and can be used on wet or dry hair. Buy it - you won't regret it.

Ashley: I’m blown away by this hairbrush. My hairdresser used an all boar bristle-brush similar to this one & from the moment she started brushing my hair after my wash I knew this type of hairbrush was different. I’ve been in the market for sometime to upgrade my current hair brush, which is starting to lose shape. This hairbrush is incredibly effective at detangling hair without feeling like it’s getting ripped out of my skull. It’s probably fantastic for brushing any kids hairs, and making sure every strand is brushed without creating any knots in the process; which is the primary function of this brush as your hair will definitely be shinier after styling. I also found that my hair dried quicker when I let it air dry. The included brush cleaner is nice to have too. As a women; I use that frequently too. I do wish the handle was shaped differently to be more comfortable in my hand when I brush the back.

J A Fischer: I am 70+ years old and can remember back when boars hair brushes were pretty much the norm. I have purchased several new styles with the plastic bristles among the boars hair and they were okay but the tips of the plastic bristles came off and then end up scratching my head, plus the plastic bristles seem to be the more prominent. I decided to try again with this one and this is amazing! I can actually feel the boars bristles and it feels wonderful on my scalp. I have no problem with it going into my hair and they suggest, like the old days, to do 100 strokes per brushing. I have a lot of hair but very fine and this is has been such a blessing to my hair routine that I purchased another one just for back up. The cleaning tool seems flimsy but if you but the side of your finer at the base of the metal tines while using it does a great job of cleaning out the brush....unless you don't clean it every day or so then it becomes an issue. Then again I think that is referred to as "user error" and not the fault of the tool.

DIY-ish: I have a large quantity of very fine hair that is mid back length I am getting some greying and brittleness in the desert climate that I live in. I had a Wet Brush Shine Enhancer, which I liked at first because of the stiff nylon bristles for detangling and scalp stimulation and the softer boar bristles for smoothing and distributing oils throughout the hair length to keep my hair hydrated and reduce frizz. The problem with the Wet brush is that the rubber backing supporting the bristles collapses easily, eventually the bristles push into the rubber backing and the middle of the brush is no longer functional. I tried this as an alternative and so far I really like it. The brush feels solid, perhaps because of the bamboo, and the convex rubber backing is firm and does not collapse inward easily (unlike the Wet brush) making it more long lasting and allowing me to apply more pressure through my hair to my scalp. I do see where at least 1 reviewer complained of the same bristle pushing in issue that I had with the Wet which could happen over time but so far it seems more durable.
