Monica Stepharnoff: The biggest reason I bought this particular type was due to the fact that other brands tend to almost always cover part of the other outlet in a “double gang” type outlet. However, this brand has a smaller head (three prong plug in) that allows you to still utilize the other outlet. I have since ordered another two of these. Using them all for outdoor use. It even comes with a battery, what’s not to like? Definitely recommend this item. My (double) outlet where I’m using this is on the side of my house, with no windows. However I do have a window facing out of the front of the house. So, when I go to turn off my Christmas lights, I simply point the remote control out the window and the remote signal still picks up the obstructed view and turns the lights off (and on obviously). Would definitely buy this again when I need more.

Nancy A: There was another I purchased that also works well, but it did not have an on-off button right on the device that I could use if I did not have the remote handy. The tilt of the outlets so that "wall warts" don't interfere with each other is helpful as well.

Jac: I like that there was no set up involved. Using it as an outside plug where there is no inside switch . Remote works a good distance, no going outside to turn off lights in the rain or cold!! Love it

Juan Manuel Diaz: Muy bien hecho, lo único que puede mejorar es que cuando pierde la energía, por ejemplo, si se va la luz, este se pueda te establecer a su configuración, ya que si esta funcionando y se va la luz, ya ni se vuelve a activar hasta que lo enciendas con el control o desde el botón

pharmaguy: I just put up our outdoor lights and this little unit just made things so much easier in turning the lots on and off. my wife can stand in the kitchen and press the remote to turn on the lights rather than having to go to the socket and plug in the lights each time and pull the plug to turn off. Significantly cheaper than getting an electrician to install a switch. Highly recommended
