Samari NelsonSamari Nelson: These paints are very easy to use and require very little water to activate.
I had to use two layer to get a deeper color, I didn’t get to finish the look because of time but think it came out pretty good for a rush job.
I had very little cracking or peeling of paint after a 9 hour shift at work, when it was time to remove it come off with ease.
I will definitely buy more colors from this maker.

TiffanyTiffany: To be fair, our previous favorite face paints were also a set from Blue Squid but the new pro palette is amazing.

Each paint pot easily lifts out of the container, which makes isolating the colors you’re using and clean up a breeze. The colors are SUPER vibrant and go on (very) smoothly.

I pulled these out with about twenty elementary aged kids and let them all have a go at using them. After two hours (and a lot of faces, hands, arms and shoulders), the pots still looked new and full. I expect these to last a long time.

And let’s be honest - I purposely didn’t give a lot of direction on how much water to use or how to care for them. I just set the kids loose.

You can tell from the photos none of us are pro-level face painters. I’ll update this review once some of our friends who are much more artistically inclined use them.

As for clean up - the plastic table cloths wiped right up with a Clorox wipe. When the paint was wet or newly applied, everything wiped off skin with a wet wipe. Once the paint had dried, a wet wipe took almost everything off and what remained was rinsed off with some soap and water.
