Blue Diamond Ceramic Nonstick Frypan - Toxin Free & Safe to Use

Amazon Customer: So far this frying pan has been great! Way better than our previous non stick Teflon pans. It fried foods so easily (we eat a lot of tofu and for the first time could actually fry it in the pan and not have to use an air fryer). And super easy to clean! Just slides off. Love that you can use metal on it as well.

DB: Waited several months before writing this review, and have used the skillet almost daily. When I first got it, the lid would make a popping noise, as though the metal rim and the glass weren't fitted quite right. That noise went away after 3 weeks. Since then, the skillet and lid have been top-shelf. The pan heats quickly and retains heat well, shows no burn marks or scratches on the cooking surface, and cleans easily. (Yes, I use the regular amount of butter and/or oil, with 'non-stick' understood to mean easy clean up). The handle will heat up a bit, but not all the way to the end; no silicone sleeve is required unless you've put the skillet in the oven, which I've done twice. The cooking surface always cleans up well and, as noted, there are no scratches, though metal tongs to turn meat is the only non-scratch utensil I've used. The bottom of the skillet is showing some marks from the gas burner, but whatever. It's as though this pan were made from a re-entry tile from the space shuttle. Good product.

AngeloMonica: La padella va bene (uso induzione), arrivata con 2 piccoli "graffi" sul bordo esterno ma non ho fatto il reso, non è proprio danneggiata ecco... Magari suggerisco al venditore di verificare meglio la qualità prima di spedire o imballare meglio il prodotto.

Paula Sayre: I used this skillet to prepare a skillet meal with meat, pasta, etc., the day I bought it, and I was impressed at the amount of food it held, and how evenly the meal cooked. Clean up was a breeze........and I used non-scratch utensils while cooking. So far, I really am glad that I purchased this skillet! It takes two hands to empty it, though, it is so large. The handle did not get hot to the touch while it was on the burner (I have an electric stove......). I would definitely recommend this skillet for anyone looking for non-stick, non-scratch, non-toxic cookware. Non-toxicity was a huge factor in my purchase.....I do not want anything in my kitchen that will leach toxins into my food or give off weird odors while cooking!

Miguel: Aunque obviamente no se puede juzgar una sartén en unos pocos días, al menos la construcción parece sólida y el antiadherente funciona muy bien. Por ahora nada se pega y es muy fácil de limpiar. Además es muy bonita. Veremos dentro de un año, pero por ahora va genial.

Susan: I've bought this skillet because I wanted something non stick that I could use to cook egg white omelets, etc. I'm trying to cut down on fat and cholesterol, and I don't like to use a lot of oil when I cook. This Blue Diamond skillet is a really nice size and it's very sturdy, and it comes with a lid. It's good value for money and overall I like it. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it's not truly non stick. You have to use quite a bit of oil when cooking things like eggs or omelets to prevent sticking. I'm a little disappointed about this and I should have read more reviews before I bought it. The instructions say that you should avoid using Pam or other non stick sprays, instead use higher smoke point oils like avocado, safflower, canola, etc. If you like to use a lot of oil when you cook, this pan will work great for you, but I hope this review helps others that are looking for a truly non stick pan. I would recommend spending the time researching your options to see which will work best for you, which what I should have done.

Albi: l'ho comprata con gli sconti a 15 euro e anche se è un po caruccia ci sta, funziona bene per ora. il manico è un po leggero e vuoto ma la padellina sembra funzionare bene

C.N.M.C.N.M.: This is the 2nd blue diamond pan that I've had. The first one was the exact same as this one and I had it for approximately 5 years, give or take. For the first couple years, the pan was slick and everything slid off it with ease. After that, the coating gets dull and things begin to stick, which requires more harsh scrubbing to get it clean, which wears down the coating more, creating a downward spiral in the quality of the coating.

I cooked some chicken fajitas last week with my old blue diamond pan and the juices from the peppers cooked hard onto the pan so bad that I simply couldn't get it off, even with a wire brush or wool pad. And those types of cleaning tools shouldn't be used on these pans to begin with, but when the food won't come off, what do you do? I even tried boiling some soap water in it and scrubbing it hot. No luck. I threw it out and ordered a new one.

The cost for buying one pan every 5 years to replace a worn out one isn't so bad. But, I don't like that there's no good way to recycle these or get them recoated to make them last longer for better sustainability.

Regardless, I bought a new one because I do like cooking on this pan for 80%...
