JTW: From the Veterinarian:
Milo is our 5 month old Ragdoll. This food is top notch, grain free, and Milo loves it! Per our vet, the food has the perfect water and nutritional content for Milo's needs, and it's the best food out there for cats. He reminded us that cats should NOT eat grains, nor do they require any carbohydrates. They also derive most of their water from the food they eat. Keep this in mind when you feed the kitty.
Portions:
Ask your vet to calculate how much your cat needs to eat. Milo requires about 300 calories a day. This particular flavor is roughly 100 calories a can, equaling 3 cans a day. That's about $2.80 a day to feed our boy, but it's WELL WORTH IT. Feeding your cat the right food will prevent many ailments down the road, including UTIs, blockages, dehydration, and bladder infections. Consider your cat's proper nutrition as the best form of preventative medicine.
