Clb: I don't know why canned cat food has become so pricey so I was glad to find this better quality food for our barn cat, who loves it. Cats need wet meaty food to stay healthy and he has a beautiful coat of fur and some heft on him for the coming winter.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: In the past I’ve never had an issue with the tastefuls however this box of 24 5oz cans did not stand up to product expectations. Unfortunately two of the cans appeared to have a large amount of white film/mold, which seemed like it was not fully pressurized prior to sealing the can.
I plan to order another box because my cat loves it but just be aware to check each can before serving your pet.

Ken Anderson: I have been feeding my cats Blue Buffalo since shortly after the company was founded, and was once a demonstrator for the company. Since I began feeding Blue Buffalo, I have raised four cats into their twenties, one of them making it to within a few months of 29 years of age.
I am a big fan of Blue Buffalo cat food products. I free-feed Blue Buffalo kibble, and that's pretty much the only kibble that my cats receive, although I'll occasionally buy another premium kibble just to give them some variety.
However, my two cats split a can of wet food in the morning and, if they have eaten it, another one in the evening, and I rotate among a wide variety of premium canned foods because they pretty much insist on variety in canned foods.
In several years, I have never had a problem with a can of Blue Buffalo wet food, that is, until this case. One can from the last case of food that I bought had gone very, very bad. I don't know what had gone wrong with this can but when I opened the can, the room filled with the most disgusting stench I have come across in a long time. I dumped it into a bowl, and it came out as a liquid that smelled like a decaying body.
