KCKC: After assembly, my drain leaked where the tailpiece screws into the bottom of the drain. I unscrewed tailpiece and wrapped fine threads with Teflon tape. No more leak. They should include this step in their instructions and include Teflon tape. I also used non-staining plumbers putty between top of sink drain (In addition to included gasket).

MN_Drifter: I had to install it a few times before i got the leaks to completely go away.

I have an old ceramic sink that wasnt perfectly flat on the bottom where the seal is supposed to seal. i ended up using the old bottom seal which was bigger & softer and filled in the imperfect surface...

Now that it's installed and working.. I love it.. so does the wife, she wants one in the other bathroom too..
