Pam's review: Finally, a vacuum that lies completely flat and does not loose suction. Cleaned under king size bed which has left side pushed against the wall and under all kinds of furniture 😁

Amazon Customer: In the last 5 or 6 weeks I have ordered 4 vacuums in Amazon. The first 2 were battery operated and did not do a good job of cleaning and the batteries did not last. Then I got a Shark corded stick vacuum. It was ok but didn't pick up pet hair as well as it should. Finally I got this Bissell and am very pleased. I have a dog that sheds a lot and vacuum my wood floors everyday. The first time I used the vacuum I was surprised at how much hair and dirt was inside the dust cup because the floor didn't seem to be that dirty. It's a little heavier than I would like and doesn't stand alone but for me it doesn't matter because I really like the way it cleans. Some people mentioned that the dust cup was difficult to get off. I didn't have a problem at all and I don't have strong hands. I would highly recommend this vacuum cleaner.

Audrey: I’ve had another vacuum for almost nine years now, but rarely used it because it isn’t good for hard floors and the attachments don’t really do the best job for getting all the stuff from under the bed. I bought this after adopting a cat, and I’m really impressed with how effective it is! It sucked up all the loose kitty litter from my wood floors in a snap, easily slid under the couch, and even made quick work of the literal years of dust bunnies under my bed. Using the crevice tool, I was even able to suck up the pesky gunk I’ve never been able to properly clean out of the rails for my sliding glass doors. The cord is long enough that I can reach my entire apartment (a large two bedroom) without unplugging, and I was able to get through everything with only one pause to empty the cup.

If I had any complaints, they would be that the handle is placed a little awkwardly, and I wish it could stand on its own, but these are easy enough to get used to. Overall, I’m beyond satisfied, and really happy I decided to try something new.

Malia Kai: It’s been about a month so here is my review. I searched and searched for a corded stick vacuum on Amazon and other websites. I came across a Shark corded stick and was really tempted to buy it. But at the last minute this one appeared. Sure, it was close to Black Friday and the Shark stick vacuum was $40.00 cheaper. But I said I would try this Bissell and because a tiny profit benefits needy animals. I wanted a stick because I wanted a vacuum I could use right out of the box, no charging necessary. The Bissell is built well. My husband says not to treat the vacuum so roughly. Honestly I so sometimes. The cord is extra long and I don’t have to plug and unplug when going from room to room. It is light and maneuverable, it doesn’t stand on it’s own, it transitions well from carpet to wooden floor. And the suction is GREAT! We have two adult dogs that live indoors and shed hair that sticks to carpet like needles in a haystack! This Bissell gobbles it all up. Yes, you need to go over the same spot a few times, so what. The dirt cup is adequate. On a dirty day I empty about two times. Yes, it took this old lady a few times to open the dirt cup take it apart to...

Karen S. Peddie: I should qualify my review by saying that this purchase replaced an ancient vacuum for me, so anything probably would've been better than what I had. But I love this little vacuum. And you cannot beat that price. I'm very impressed with the suction power. It works great on my tile floors, my low pile carpet, and my shaggy area rug. And it's super easy to move from one type of flooring to another. My dog sheds a lot, and it's embarrassing how much hair (and dirt) this thing removed. It fits all the way under every piece of furniture, which is so helpful for truly ridding the house of dog hair. It handles so well and I love how easy it is to maneuver around.

Addressing some complaints of other customers:
1) It does not stand on its own, but it does lay flat. So if you have to move furniture or stop midway to empty the cannister, you just lay it down...easy peasy.
2) The cannister is pretty small, but it is super easy to remove and empty. And as long as I'm vacuuming as frequently as I should, I can vacuum my 2,000 sq ft home without having to empty the cannister. (I did have to empty frequently on my first use since this thing picked up way more than...
