We have 2 cats and a dog in the house so there’s a lot of pet hair plus the usual human hair. I have vacuumed pretty regularly with an older vacuum but it was time for an upgrade.
Pros:
I am disgusted at how much stuff it keeps pulling out of my carpet. This thing has a strong suction and does it’s job well.
It was easy enough to set up.
The added tools makes it possible to deep clean everywhere.
It doesn’t seem like it will break easily. It’s hard core.
Cons:
It’s heavy. It will not be fun to maneuver on the stairs.
There’s no easy way to clean the roller.
You have to turn the roller on separately. If you don’t, it does not clean as well.
Overall I’d say it was worth it!

This is the perfect vacuum if you have a furry friend in your house. This vacuum does a great job removing dog hair from both carpet and tile. The suction on the vacuum is like no other, it really does a great job. I've had other "dog vacuums" that claim they clean up pet hair, but they have come up short. It really does it job when it comes to cleaning. The roller brush is amazing at cleaning up all types of hair,(human too) and doesn't get entangled in the roller. It's easy to use and lightweight for stairs.

I have been a diehard supporter of bissell products for years. This vacuum is no exception…from the ease of use…the fabulous suction…the machine gets the job done.
My needs however have changed…I no longer have a carpeted household…instead I have a hardwood floor household. This bissell is perfect for me…it has a beater bar that has the capacity to vacuum but not to be in use …perfect for hardwood. When I want to use the beater bar for the small amount of carpet I have, I just press a button and on it comes. Love this bissell.

This vacuum is magical. My last vacuum was very hard to use on carpet for some reason. This one is perfect and all the attachments are awesome. The amount of dog hair and dirt that this thing sucks up is almost disgusting hahaha. He brushes easy to clean if hair gets wrapped up in it and the suction power is great. Also super easy to reach very high places or into crevices and I love the little LED light tool! Highly recommend this vacuum!!!

We had a small dust vacuum and decided to get this one for the whole house. The reviews said it had notably powerful suction and it was certainly not an exaggeration. This vac is one of the strongest I have ever used. It is a larger vac and a bit heavier than most but it needs that extra weight for the power. Because of its weigh it might not be ideal for stairs. It doesn’t get under furniture very well but does fine if you pull the handle and put the smaller attachment on it. Overall I am very pleased with it and I do recommend it for your home or small office.

We had a dison ball vac and I got tired of picking hair out of each part of the vac after each use. Started to loose suction and it was just heavy. Saw this read the reviews and first let me start by tell you I have four dogs that live in the house not toy dogs, but BIG dogs and hair is a issue. This thing is what I've been looking for, hair has YET to get rapped round the brush, not stopping and cleaning after each use. The can seperates the hair and ties it up, still have to reach up when emptying the can to get the hair but not like the dyson where I had to take the can apart everytime to get to the hair. I read that some people complain that it's heavy, for us it's not it's actually lighter than the Dyson and is pretty easy to move around. Bottom line, I finally found the love of my life.

Well my to cats who are long hair Calico's and with the carpet and area rug I have, there was always a light hair "film" left behind from my old vacuum, very frustrating.
This was a super fast delivery so I was happy to get started.
I found it very easy to assemble, it is however a bit weighted, but still a one hand task. I love the "long pile/short pile" options this way it can really dig into the different carpet, and that it does! The suction is good and I like how the beater bar gets right in there and have no hassle of hair build up. I find the LED lighting useless but it's there and maybe helpful to some. I also liked that I could use it on my kitchen floor. The accessories work really well, the mini power head did a great job on my cat trees and the window beds they sleep in. I even did the drapes with the soft brush and went hog wild and did my mattress, and clean out the radiators, just so see how versitile it could be, in all situations it did a nice job.
The one thing though, is I wish the hose was a few inches longer to be able to reach the top of the large cat tree. The other thing I was slightly disappointed in is that it doesn't...

I was not very enthusiastic when ordered this vacuum but when I tried it, wow, it blew my mind! I have a blonde Chihuahua that sheds ALL YEAR around! My previous vacuums did not pick up her short hair, I literally had to go on my knees and pick up her hair with a lint tape! Phew!.. Now this Bissell picked up all her hair and more, GREAT suction power! The only draws back are: The hose is away too short for using the accessories which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to use it on a couches or chairs without the vacuum falling on you leaving some bruises, ouch!.. And I wish the cord was retractable, it's uncomfortable to vacuum and hold the cord in the same time otherwise it will get on the way. I hope the Bissell company will make improvement on those issues, regardless I still give a 5 star for a great suction.
