Frequent Flyer: I really really like this. Everything about it is nicer than I expected for the money. I was even surprised at the poles especially, they are metal (yet light weight) and more sturdy than anything I've owned before. And I've owned some tents that cost double this one.
My main reason for getting a new tent was water resistance - my old ones were getting leaky after many many years of use. So far using it I've only had it out in brief light rain - so obviously not the best test there. (Yes, everything stayed perfectly dry.) But judging from the quality and the material, I feel totally confident it'll keep me and my stuff dry in heavy rain too.
I just love the symmetrical design of it, as well. Doors on both sides means you don't have to pay attention to how you're orienting it setting it up. It means you can go in and out the other side. If you're sharing with somebody you can get out on your own side without interrupting them. When it dawned on me how much I like the two-door design, it really got me thinking - why haven't I noticed a tent with two doors before? Why doesn't EVERY tent have two doors? It seems like a no brainer feature to add that I never realized I...

Eric BEric B: We LOVE this tent. We purchased this as my son entered Webelos in preparation for Scouts BSA. The first tent we purchased had a pop-up style assembly and was intended to be easy, but not for backpacking. It was too tall for my son to use, so we went with this smaller option.
Not only is it small and easy to assemble, but it is lightweight and works perfectly now that he is learning how to pack for hike-in camping. He practiced putting it up and down inside the house before the first trip, and was a pro in no time. I lo e that it is small enough for indoor camping, too!
It has been rained on during almost every camping trip and stayed completely dry, inside. As a "two person" tent, it is the perfect size to fit his sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and gear comfortably. It is almost completely screen under the rain fly, so for daytime in hot weather (and we are in Texas), it is nice to have the ventilation. Not much for privacy, but the fly pops on and off easily, so it is simply a matter of modifying to the needs of the moment. He can just unclip the fly in one side and slide it to the other side. As it is still attached on one side, it is not at risk of blowing...

Robert: First off, this is a solid buy and a really good tent. I don't dislike this at all. I've been on several windy, sub-freezing campouts and it's been awesome at keeping the wind off of me. I haven't used this in the summer, yet, but given the ventilation flaps and the design of the rain fly, I'm not worried about this being comfortable.
My biggest nits come into play with the height and length. I'm 6' tall and the shallow roof essentially means then when I need to get dressed in my tent (such as Scout trips), then I have to do so either lying down, or very stooped and on my knees. Not a wonderful experience.
As for the length, there is little room for error. When using my sub-freezing sleeping bag and inflatable sleeping pad (the type you stomp on), I have to sleep diagonally so that nothing touches the sides. With the tossing and turning of the night, it's just about a guarantee that I'm touching sidewall at some point. There's no way that two average sized-adults could sleep in this and not have problems.
Those two issues aside, this is a really awesome tent. It's easy to set up, well made, and comfortable within the parameters I mentioned. The exterior...
