The pastry cookie dough is just the right softness; doesn’t fall apart. The lemon flavor is also just the right amount of flavor & not too sweet. The yellow colored white chocolate is thin with a pretty design imprinted and there’s a surprise thin layer of (I think) lemon marmalade. They’re so delicious, I’m buying the chocolate flavored ones for my next door neighbors (I don’t like chocolate but I’ll try one!). And they’re not too big: maybe 1/3” thick and about 1-1/2” thick. I gave one package with 6 cookies to my assistant who is very cautious about lemon; after her second bite, she said, “(The remaining 5 cookies) might not make it home (to her husband & daughter.”

nekojita: These do have a nice lemon flavor to them - I'll admit, I was torn between which flavor of these Biscolata Pia cookies to get, and went with the lemon ones since I adore lemon and it had good reviews. However, I think next time I'll try the chocolate flavors since I don't really like white chocolate. If you enjoy lemon AND white chocolate, you'll probably love these. They are soft and I like that they're not too big, and you get four containers which makes it a good price. It's a good snack, especially if you want to share them.

Justme66: ***update 11/08 Please Amazon stop having these pop up in my thread when shopping. Yes the first couple of orders were great, but after the mess I was sent last month I will no longer purchase these. I purchased 4 packages of 4 which made 16 packs of old melted cookies. I always order when we have a cold front so as not to have them melt yet I received a complete or of repackaged old melted together mess. That’s 16 sleeves of YUCK. That was on lack of quality control and ETHICS. Where ever they were sent from knew they sent garbage!!!
**Update:10/20 ordered 4 boxes of these expensive cookies since my family loves them, paid full price!! What I received was ALL their REJECTED stock, easily determined by the packaging. None of the four orders came in original packaging. If product is rejected because it’s a melted mess sell it for a discounted price don’t send your junk to a full price customer. Certain members of my family ate them not caring but that’s because they didn’t pay for this garbage. This company or amazon purposely repackaged these melted Cookies that now resemble a bar and sold them again. This shows absolutely that their is a lack of ethics and who...

Elizabeth Barrett: $14.95 for 48 cookies; 2" wide. 8 cookies per package. $0.31 cents each. My box contained four delightfully-decorated smaller boxes with one smaller sealed bag in each of those. Each inner box weighs: 3.53 ounces. The dark chocolate is top rate, the orange jelly filling is wonderful and this sits upon a golden brown cookie baked to perfection with a bit of a crust and soft body. One might compare these to petit fours or other fine, small bakery items. Those specialty bakeries now charge $2.00 per cookie; of course they are bigger. I am loving each one of these Biscolata but, the serving size is two cookies at 110 calories. Glad I am alone for this sheltering-in-place time of Coronavirus because there would be tussles over how to divide these expensive cookies. Looked online today and they are no longer even available and other flavors are $12.95 per 4 boxes (48 cookies) . Hmmm!

seth d tallman: The more of these I eat, the more I realise they're totally average. Pretty blah. The only thing I can taste is the chocolate paste, and I'm not a fan. It's got that cheap store bought frosting vibe to it without all the sugar granule you can literally chew on.
The biscuit is soft and fluffy, but lacks ANY taste. The chocolate crust is chocolate. That's all I have to say about that. I would buy these for no more than $2 a package. And that's if I was in the mood for something specifically like this. Then I would regret my choice because they're probably worth $1 a sleeve. There are better options, and they're cheaper. I'm confident I could make something very similar and have it taste better.
Besides all of that, I did not read the ingredients list. It's freaking poison! Spare yourself this purchase and look somewhere else.
