L. L. Holmes: This is my quaker's favorite perch. I have bought several; easier to take one out and soak it to clean and replace with a clean one (he is a very messy boy). The surface keeps his beak and toes nicely manicured, and I really like the plastic fastener which is so much safer than those metal washers and wing nuts most perches use.

jas: I got the extra large for the length which is good in a large cage. But it is a little fat for my African Grey. So he doesn't seem to spend as much time on it as I would expect. I thought the larger circumfrence might make it easier for longer rests. The longer a bird spends on these kinds of perches is really great for keeping their nails trimmed.

ChristinaChristina: My cage has vertical bars. This only fits horizontal bars or bars that would be too large for suggested cockatiel sized bars. The small is the size that is recommended for a cockatiel. To set this up in my cage it wouldn’t sit properly, with the smooth part on top and the pumice part where their nails sit. My bars are too narrow and heavy duty to flex them to fit the large plastic pieces through them. I wanted to like this and I’m bummed it can’t be adjusted to change it. I tried seeing if I could turn it at all or separate it so I could reattach it myself since I already took the label off it. I haven’t tried a lot of force yet to see if I can separate it but with the force I used I can tell it’s a well made perch. I wanted something that would help the nails and be gentle on feet. This promised to be that. They should have 2 styles for vertical and horizontal bars. With the style of the attachment I’m actually surprised they don’t have a vertical or horizontal attachment.

eatpao: The green one is a good size for my budgie. The blue one was too small. I still have to bring him to the vet to have his nails cut but less often.

Tim McBeath: Was worth the price, within two weeks my amazon's nails the had recently shed and were super sharp, are rounded and smooth. He has other perches in his cage as well, so I was skeptical that it would work so quickly, but I'd highly recommend these perches. Just choose the correct size for you bird and make sure it's installed in the correct orientation and you'll see results

R LegaultR Legault: The perch is actual super cool! It’s great that it offers feet safety meaning the « sand paper » doesn’t do the whole thing! And it actually does work on horizontal bars aslong as your bars a wide enough. Overall great product... but... and this is going to sound weird but it looks like an adult toy if you know what I mean- I had a few of my relatives ask questions... abut nevertheless just poor design but great quality and works great!
