Zachariah: However - he sadly had a bad reaction to it and was SO itchy. He’s scratched two spots bald on his sides and chewed up his feet. We’ve given him Benadryl as the vet recommended, and know it’s nothing dangerous, just miserable for him. And I rinse THOROUGHLY, neurotically so, and the entire bath too.

So please, if your pup has sensitive skin, beware. Just because it’s coconut and whatnot doesn’t mean it’ll be okay. But I’m being honest when I say it worked wonders in literally one wash. His fur is so smooth and soft, and he smells lovely. The scent isn’t overpowering, and is a gentle, lovely coconut. Obviously, haha.

Amber FinleyAmber Finley: This product most definitely deserves a positive review. I have a 4 month old Yorkie that has extremely dry, itchy, flaky skin. We couldn’t pinpoint if it’s a food allergy, a skin condition, or from a shampoo we used when we first brought him home. All I know is he was rubbing around on the carpets and against walls constantly trying to itch himself. I felt horrible for him! So after reading reviews from others, I decided it couldn’t hurt to try this product while we are waiting for his vet appointment.

I applied it as soon as I received it and within minutes I could tell it was already working. I sprayed it through his entire coat, massaged it in with my fingers, then gently brushed him. I’ve now been using it for a few days every morning, and it has completely stopped the itching and all the dandruff and flakes are gone.

The scent is a rich coconut smell, and actually a bit strong in my opinion, but after a couple of hours, the smell wears off a bit and isn’t as noticeable. It also leaves his coat soft after it dries.

Omar: I love biosilk products and was excited when I saw they offer a product for dogs! And although it smells nice and seems to be gentle on my puppy’s skin and fur, I’m kind of bothered that the product doesn’t come sealed. The first one was all slimy from the shampoo leaking. The replacement one wasn’t leaking but it was still unsealed. Is that normal?
