c: It feels like I go through a air fryer every year. I had the nutrichef glass air fryer last time which I loved, but cracked the glass bowl. While this is made in China :( I wanted a glass, non toxic fryer again. I didn't like this one at first and preferred my old one, but I now I think it works nicely and think it'll work for me.

The lid holder stacks on the fryer and saves a lot of counter space which I love. I think the base could be heavier/sturdier and I wonder about long lasting durability, but overall I'm happy with the price (bought it on sale at $75) and value so far.

I bought the extended warranty because I feel like air fryers aren't long lasting as they should. Granted I use one almost every day and quality everywhere has gone down... So hopefully it lasts longer than a year or two.

Laggy: We like it. It works like a convection oven. We use it to air fry fried chicken. Surprisingly it comes out crispy without having to use any oil. Also, we use it to make fries and reheat any air fry products that our kids like. It' not overly noisy but it' not dead quiet either. Only big downside is that it' pretty big! So make sure you have enough room in your kitchen counter for it - horizontally and vertically!

NPavlovska: this product should not be sold on amazon.de as the product American appliances run on 110 volts, while European appliances are 220 volts. This air fryer does not work, and the supplier did not mention that it cannot be used on european electricity. Finding a voltage converter that could convert on 1300 watts, costs more than the air fryer itself.

this is a total fraud.

Alpha: Ya conocía este tipo de hornos desde hace años, el que tenia lo regale a un pariente que le gustó y me compre este esta magnifico, lo uso para hornear y asar carne de todo tipo. Es fantástico. INGREDIENTS
FOR THE MARINADE
2 pounds chicken tenderloins
1 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

FOR THE BREADING
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 heaping teaspoon salt

Paul HPaul H: This is my third air fryer. As you can see in the picture, I replaced an earlier version of the Boss which stopped working after approximately 3 to 4 years of everyday use. Our family loves this appliance. Before I bought this one and looking for a change, I went out and bought a popular air fryer oven. Being skeptical that it would be better than the Boss, I unpacked it carefully so that I could repack it and return it without any problem. I'm glad I did that. I returned it that same day. As with the air fryer I returned, I found that most of the air fryers do not go over 400 degrees. I like a higher heat option. The Boss goes up to 480. I think that the big difference in performance is the halogen light. When I gave the air fryer oven (the one I returned) a test, it did not give as nice of a crisp outer texture as the Boss. It also took a couple of minutes longer to cook. In the picture the old Boss is on the left. You can see they went from a digital push buttons to analog dials. AskAlthea: This is an amazing appliance for the price. It even dehydrates food.

What we like. The BB is big and can be made bigger with the extender ring - options. It's glass and we can see everything as its cooking. This is especially nice as we learn how use this thing. Saves us from under cooking or burning food.

The controls are simple and not digital. Turn 2 knobs and we're cooking already. The accessories are almost enough - more below about this.

With the extender ring, it's so easy to cook/dehydrate a lot of food at once; it really amps up the volume. With the extender ring in place, the BB is big enough to roast a 16 lb turkey. OK, maybe we'll never use the wall oven ever again...lol.

Although we've had the BB for less than a month, we sure hope that it lasts. We might order a second one as a back-up because it works so well and probably has built-in obsolescence.

Accessories - we ordered the Sharper Image accessory package and returned it. All that we really wanted from this pack was the mesh bowl.
