P.A.C.Oldfield: I had hoped to find a solid screen with no swinging panels at its end, bud had to settle for these. The screen will not enclose the space at the top but doubt sparks will emanate from there. It is well built and the mesh will not hide much of the fire behind it.

TaylorTaylor: The quality is nice and sturdy but the antique finish is really ugly and sloppy. I’m going to spray paint it with some high heat gold paint. Other than that it seems fine.

Jorie: Quality, lightweight fireplace gate with a basic look at a great price. Bought this to keep my kids out of the fireplace. Love that it doesn't get too hot, so I am not worried if they touch it when it's on. Basic look blends into the room. Easy to move so we can service the fireplace. Paid a reasonable price.
Only removed one star because they don't package it the best. Ours came with a small dent in the middle that happened during shipping.
