MaebeaMaebea: I used this on a 4 day trip during a tropical storm. This tent was amazing. I am very pleased with this purchase. I bought it for backpacking. It packs down small. I did buy the footprint that was made for the tent separately. Both are well worth the money. Seams are very well made. It didn't leak at all and it did very well in high winds. I felt very safe in the tent. It is extremely easy to set up. the different bags included with the tent make it very easy for setup. The instructions for the tent are sewn into the stuff sack. It does weigh a bit more than other backpacking tents but for the room it has and how it is built it is worth the extra weight in my opinion. It has held out for several trips now and is good for a lot more. The tent has a great design two vestibules and two doors to the tent made it easy to get in and out of the two person tent.

Shack_manShack_man: I purchased this tent based on other people's reviews to replace a tent that had been everywhere with me across the past decade. I'm not disappointed in the least!

First off, the stakes that come with most tents are trash. 10 times out of 10, they get recycled or donated in favor of a lighter weight MSR stake. The included stakes with this tent are slightly thicker than standard with a point at the ground-end. They Went into the ground easily and stayed put in 20mph winds.

I can only speak to the overally ease of assembly and built quality from the time today that I set it up in the yard to Permathin the exterior. The stuff sack that the tent arrives in has instructions for assemble/disassembly that are very easy to follow. The aluminum tent poles went together nicely and clipped into their appropriate hooks on the tent. I was very impressed in the construction of this tent for not requiring the poles be threaded through a sleeve at the top of the tent. Another wonderful feature is that the vertibule openings on either side of the tent zip and velcro shut. No telling how all of this will hold up but it appears to be high quality.

Amber Brown: So heres the correct review for anyone scrolling and thinking about picking up a new tent or adding another to their collection. My family and i are very Experienced Ruff it Campers. Im here to tell you this Tent is Amazing! The frame is a solid one piece, lightweight, very very easy to assemble. Tent goes up in 2min or less. Guylines and stakedowns are located in great positions. The entire tent can fit in a backpack. We have been using this tent for about 6 weeks now and last night Oh My! We were camping with 3 other family’s and a Super Cell came up on us. Weather Channel suggested it would be 12-16 mph winds with the severe thunderstorm but as we laid there we were hit with 60+ easy. This storm was unbelievable. Within 3 min of it starting my kids tent which they say can withstand high winds folded up like a taco and my kids were in panic mode. Doing my natural father instinct i got them outta there quick and returned to home. Peoples campers were rocking almost getting blown over. Diego: I bought this tent to take on a backpacking trip where I need things to be small and light. While this tent is not one of those super high tech ultralight ones, it fits the bill at a reasonable price.

My wife and I just tried building it on our living room and this is our experience:

Out of the bag, there the entire thing is rolled and kept closed with an adjustable band that is provided just for that purpose. Opening the rolled parts, you get the tent, the waterproof roof, a pouch with the stakes, and a pouch with the structural tubes.

Building the tent takes about 90 seconds when two people are doing it and is as easy as it gets. All the tubes are connected into a single structure, and they are attached to the tent with plastic hooks. There is no annoying passing of tubes through holes in the tent, which makes things easy.

Once built, the tent is a nice size, about the size of a long full bed. My wife is planning to use it with our two little kids, so it's the perfect size for her.

buzz: When this item arrived, we were in the middle of a torrential downpour for about 5 days. Setting up the tent was super quick and very easy and we started this inside the house. My 9 year old even said, "That was easy" when we had finished. When the rain stopped for about an hour, we walked the tent outside into the backyard and pegged it to the ground. Then the torrential rain continued for another few days. Each day, I looked inside the tent and dry as a bone. Very well made and the design is very well thought out. In terms of the dual door openings, this is an excellent design where falling rain didn't go into the tents as you enter.

This tent was used with the groundsheet suited for it. The only minor comment is that the ground sheet was made only for the foot print of the tent base and not the door opening areas.
