Jakiah: This deluxe version is an amazing read! If you're looking for something to read and are interested in Manga then this is one you need to get! Especially since how cheap it costs! I've never read Berserk before but hear amazing things about it so finally decided to get some of the Manga but didn't want to spend $15 per individual manga issue. This deluxe version allows you to grab 3 issues all in one for less than the price of 2! Highly recommended if you like gore, action, and just straight blood filled combat!

Mason Smith: I’ve only heard echos and rumors of the infamous series written by the now infamous Kentaro Miura and that series of course being Berserk.
Everyone I’ve ever talked to that’s read it, has said it’s amongst, if not the best, manga they have ever read. With the really awful CGI remake of the original 90’s series, I was very curious to read the source material for one of the most beloved series to ever exists, and only a handful of pages in I can see why.
The panels are drawn with such intensity and precision, every corner of the page comes to life, and especially with the book this size? THIS is how the manga should be read. These larger than life spreads of some of the most epic and jaw dropping visuals you’ve ever seen put to paper, come to life in a sprawling and complex way through the amplified size and quantity you get, this is absolutely undoubtedly, worth it.
If you’re thrown off by the price, trust me when I say it’s worth every penny. Wait for a sale, and then buy them as you read them. This is only issue one, but I’ll be getting all 14 soon enough

Tippy: This thing is a treasure. I'm struggling to put to words how high quality it feels.
It's a 5 star gacha pull, legendary gear, blue axolotl. I think I'm in love.

Giant double page spreads that showcase what an amazing artist Miura really is. The cover is a fine, leathery matte that feels great in the hand. My only real 'complaint' is that the brand mark on the front is quite subtle.
Some books that I've read don't neatly fold down the middle, and you sort of have to fight to keep them open - not even a slight issue with this, probably due to the gently curved spine. There's also a flat black string bookmark attached, which is nice.

I bought this for 30 dollars on sale, but frankly speaking, its well worth the full 50 dollars.

Mary Frantz: Though the art vastly improves over the course berserk is fantastic. I was surprised yo find out there was content before the "golden age" arc of the series but already am sure I'll love it. The series is a beautiful work, I especially love the authors use of two page panels(actually why I went for physical copy) and I'd put his line work on par with junji ito.

TW for visceral panels of SA throughout the series. I feel it's important for anyone going in to know that. I love the series but they do feature it. It's definitely better handled then your game of thrones and other members of the genre. The author seems to have a understanding of some of the weight if what he's depicting though, be careful if you are sensitive.
