William M.: I was hesitant never purchasing this brand before. I purchased the 11 foot length rod and have no problem heaving a three ounce surf rig out. It is responsive too. I am able to feel more action than the same size rods that are for medium to heavy action. I’ve only used it three times so I’ll give it a month or two to decide about the quality. So far so good.

Amazon Customer: Berry pros are great rods I have the ocean master and super panther and the striper killer today was my first day using the striper killer that I bought back in March and on my first cast, the rod broke on me using a 2 ounce weight. Will see if I can return it and get a new one literally brand you first time using it today so will write a review after I try it out again will be going back to my ocean master great for halibut and striper.
