Markus Quinones: I've surf fished with this rod about four times now and so far it has met my expectations. This rod is lightweight, has good backbone and is comfortable to cast and fight the fish with. I will buy a second one to replace my other surf rod.

This became my go to rod after that. I like the water resilience of it, but more the feel.
I haven't hooked anything big with it yet, but I don't have concerns either. I've snagged some heavy rocks without issue 😆 25lb test and it held well
