Berkley Big Game Casting Fishing Rod - Perfect for Experienced Anglers

G. WagnerG. Wagner: Brought in 12 blackfin tuna and 10 vermillion snappers as pictured. Hooked a few larger tuna but didn't get them in the boat. My 80 pound braided line broke. But the pole was bent almost in 2 and held up. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the reel screw worked its way loose and I had to tighten it periodically. I would hate for it to loosen enough that the reel falls off while trying to land a big fish. But for the price, you can't beat this rod.

Raffpap: This thing is a beast. It's chunky, almost too chunky for my liking From handle to tip it is chunkier than my Ugly Stik catfish casting rod. But is still light enough to fish for many hours. It should be able to tame King salmon next summer. I've matched it up with a Kastking Royale Legend II 200 with 65 lb. braid.

DeVon Byrd: The price is great and the quality is there. I have two of these rods that I use for shark fishing. They work well for this purpose. They are both paired with size 30 baitcasting reels and handle 80 lb braid with ease.

Very inexpensive set up but so far has done a nice job as a boat rod on some keeper Fluke and Black Sea Bass.

Hendrix: Everyone in my area only carries the spincaster, so I ordered my baitcaster here. Very strong rod considering the price. It's difficult to find a medium/heavy rod at this price point. The weak point is the plastic reel seat but, so far no problems with it breaking. No problems pulling in 20lb plus Channel Cats and Carp. Can barely reach eighty yards when casting 3oz but, that is about what I'd expect from a short baitcasting rod. Tip not protected during shipping, so I am amazed it arrived in perfect condition. Seller really should protect tip better for shipping.

RAUL D.: Aún no la he puesto a prueba pero se aprecia de buena calidad, no se siente tan dura como otros la describen y la pienso utilizar para trolear y quizá un poco de jigging. Por el precio no vas a encontrar otra igual.
