Benebone Wishbone Dog Chew Toy with Real Bacon Flavor - Durable and Long-Lasting

CBR: We have an energetic, lovable pitty-mix of a grand-dog. All she wants is to play and chew. When we babysit the grands, we are constantly taking yet another one of the kids' toys out of her mouth. So far, every bone we've tried to keep this delightful horse of a dog entertained has ended up gone long before our evening of babysitting the grandkids is over. Not this one! This puppy lasted for weeks!

Now the dog is happy. The grandkids toys are happy. And we're not so exhausted.

Denise Mastrangelo: My puppy adores these bones. He is is 10 months old now and I have to order a new one about every 5 weeks. He is a super chewer and he goes at this bone all day. It' his favorite toy by-far. The best part is, chewing provides great benefits and stimulations for dogs, so he often gets tired just from chewing! We can't travel anywhere without his little bone. Definitely recommend.

fatih guven: Our dog loves this toy. Although she is a small fox terrier, she is a reckless chewer. All 'undestroyable toys' were destroyed by her. One good thing about her is that she just chews her toys, not furniture etc. Nowadays, this is her favorite chew toy, it is so funny to see her carry this with her small body on the sofa and enjoy chewing freely. I assume flavor is also nice because she seems enjoying:)

Rachel k WilsonRachel k Wilson: I have a 100lb, nearly year old Cane Corso. I ordered the largest size offered. This is her second… she chews them up pretty fast. The one in this picture is about 2-3 weeks old. My biggest issue with this toy is it become extremely rough, and when she brings it to us when we sit in the couch.. she scratches or even cuts ours legs up with it. It does keep her entertained. I would buy again.. but it doesn’t last as long as I expected.

Ross Glenn: I've probably bought a dozen of these in the various flavors over the past several years. They're incredibly tough and resilient, standing up to even very strong chewers for a good long while. Currently, I have two dogs chewing on them and one of these bones lasts about six or eight months with more or less daily attention of an hour or so. All three flavors seem about equally appealing to dogs so no issues with any of them. And the doggy desire to chew on these doesn't fade the way it does with most similar toys: they seem just as appealing when they're months old as when they're new.

I mostly replace them because it becomes easier and easier for the dogs to strip away the material, which makes me concerned about the health issue. So as the manufacturer suggests, I replace them when the "knobby" ends wear away. When it looks like I'm close to needing a new pair, I just put all three flavors on my Amazon watch list and buy whichever flavor drops to the $16 or so range. Works like a charm. Highly recommended!

Nicholas B.Nicholas B.: ***EDIT 3: I have upgraded this to four stars. I received two replacement JUMBO bones after the one I purchased broke off almost instantly. I think that product had a defect in it, which is a little dangerous because it broke into a piece that could be swallowed. HOWEVER, the two replacement bones have been excellent. One got chewed up first, and it did slowly whittle away, but it did not break into any dangerous pieces and it did not get sharp. My puppy loved it! The second bone she has had a little more trouble chewing away, and it still gets her attention after months of hard chewing. Which makes me think that the bones have different hardness levels in the batches they are made, but that is just speculation. Regardless, the bone is great and does does not break into little pieces which could be choking hazards, and it does not get sharp.

Great product, a little inconsistent in batches maybe, but it will get your dog's attention, provide hours of chewing, and the scent does not get on the carpet like other chew toys or bones. Good purchase!

***Edit 1: Benebone contacted me almost immediately and offered a replacement of the larger size. Their customer service...
