Benebone Maplestick/Bacon-Flavored Durable Dog Chew Toy

K.T.: I bought this when my German shepherd was a teething puppy. While every dog is different, she loved it! I just bought a third one to replace her first which has been chewed down to a pointy shiv after a little over a year. The second was for the office to keep her occupied while I work. She's over a year now, and happily working away on her new one.

The one downside, it hurts like a Lego when you step on it. I've learned to be very careful of where my dog leaves it.

My brother's dog also liked it when they visited, so he got one for her.

AD MinnesotaAD Minnesota: Pros: We get a good couple of months out of these before he’s chewed them down to nothing. Cons: Like all nylon bones, these shed these little curly sharp plastic shards as they get chewed.

Leleah Miser: These are my dog's favorite toy and he is very picky at times. He goes tend to go through them and they have to be replaced so I will put it away for a week or two here and there to make it last longer. The way it's designed he is able to hold it still and happily chew on it.

Joseph DummannJoseph Dummann: This bone is one of my dog's favorites! We got her both the Maple and Bacon and I will say she definitely has a preference for the bacon flavored one. She goes through a bacon one about every 3 months and is definitely one of the items she finds most entertaining/used. We haven't had any issues so far with her teeth and she is a pretty aggressive chewer as we have given her these bones her whole life. Not too hard or too soft.

So weit so gut wie es einem Hund der gängigen Rassen oder deren Mischlinge präsentiert wird. Unsere Mädels haben viel Spaß damit und die Haltbarkeit verspricht bei ihnen auch hinzukommen. Unserem Rüden müsste ich es abnehmen, da es nach 15 Minuten bereits 20 Prozent seiner Masse verloren hatte.

ANDREA LOPES: Já testei alguns ossinhos de nylon, mas minha cachorra só gosta desses da Benebone, tanto o de mapple quanto o de bacon (os outros não experimentei). Apesar dela ter 15kg e ser porte médio, sempre compro o tamanho P, pois ela tem o fuço fino e uma mordedura mais fraca. Ela rói todo dia várias vezes e dura em média uns 6 meses até ficar só com a haste do meio. Vai soltando pequenos pedacinhos, que a minha não engole, mas segundo o que li, se o cão acabar engolindo não faz mal.

Josh K.: This is officially my dog’s new favorite toy. She plays and chews on this thing nonstop. She has dozens of toys and she doesn’t touch any of them unless, she forgets where she left her bacon stick. This is a must for the perfect Dental Toy.

I kinda suspected she’d love these things, so I also bought the knob in chicken flavor. She likes the chicken but, it’s so obvious she loves the bacon flavor. Smart girl. I absolutely love bacon also, bacon is perfect by itself, and it makes everything else much better. Except a bacon martini, so disgusting.

The main reason I bought two was to put one in my vehicle, for road trips. My dog is my child, my Princess, so she goes almost everywhere with me. I knew this would be great for keeping her entertained and distracted while we’re out running errands and stuff. I always keep separate toys in the cars for her to chew on. A few years ago I forgot to grab a few toys out of the bin and she decided that boredom was a good excuse to chew on a seatbelt, no cool.
