Cynthia: I recently bought some bobbie goods colouring book and was on the hunt for a marker set with lots of colours without breaking the bank.

Pros:
- Lots of colours
- Comes in a heavy duty bag with strap
- Budget friendly
- Pens have two different tips
- Markers themselves are good quality
- Customer Service is very responsive

Cons:
- The blender does not work, it just adds a white layer and does not blend
- There aren’t many beige colours, I had to buy another set of only beige shades (this might not be an issue depending on what you plan on colouring)
- I wish it came with a swatch sheet template like other markers do. I had to print out my own.

Vanessa Calkin: They bleed through even watercolor paper and their color is off from the cap. I spent a lot of time creating a color swatch sheet to help out but over all I really like the set especially as I teach middle school and it’s a great introduction to nicer art markers to my artistic students to use either for their free time creativity or for larger poster projects.

liz: Love these markers and how vibrant they are. They color great and dry pretty true to color. My daughter was going crazy though because she wanted to organize them by the numbers and you don’t get 1-168 there are some randomly placed numbers in there.

J. CahoonJ. Cahoon: PROS: Good value for alcohol markers. Large variety of colors. Long lasting.

CONS: Packaged completely out of numerical order. Colors do not match cap indicators, so you’ll need to make a labeled color chart. Bleeds through even thick Mixed media paper, so you’ll need a piece of buffer paper in between in a sketch book.

Overall, good for general use - but you get what you pay for.

AnonymousAnonymous: I use a common paper to try out the new markers, since not everyone uses ink proof sheets. I have used a regular copy paper of better quality named Top Colour Zero, it is a superior quality smooth paper for inkjet and lazer performance. It is a ink paper, nicer quality for i.e. printers. The colors bleed right through, it stained my surface pretty bad, I have just chosen to show the paper bleed through. The colors are vivid & bright and I wanted to see how well it blends colors, so I used the different types of markers included, including a transparent pen that is included. There is a instruction sheet on how to use that pen. If you want a solid foundation you have to work the colors and repeat strokes. The blending is fine, there are better pens for blending, but the price for this one is affordable and you get your value for the cost.
I then used a black medium fine liner on this one from Paper Mate, it did not bleed and it looked as it should. So these pens work with more expensive fine liners too.
The markers do not come in number order. It confused me, so I put them in number order, but they are not always in shade order, which would have improved the number of...

NameaNamea: I've had copics and prismacolor markers for years. They're 40 bucks for a set of 12 and I found them to be okay. I wanted more colours and after having decent success with another brand from Amazon I decided to try these. Immediately I noticed the difference, in a good way. These markers are easily more pigmented and blend better than the aforementioned expensive ones. The colour variety is great although I'd prefer more vibrant greens. Like all alcohol based markers these will bleed! They aren't for kids or beginners so watch or read some tutorials before buying. I'd definitely say these are very worth it for the price!

The drawing I did with them I used a lot of the colors and none of them bled through more than the next page in my sketch book! And it was a “drawing pad” which means that it has thinner paper than marker paper! There were none that were dried up. The only thing I had to do was to move the colors around to fit my preferences and make it easier to find the colors I’m looking for. The only downside I found was that the markers were mixed up in the case and no real pattern was in it... so I rearranged them to my preferences and they are working great! These are great markers!
