Tim: I made a cider press using a hydraulic jack. The sacks I was using kept ripping. I bought these nylon bags, they have worked perfectly. They were larger than what I needed but that posed no problem. The holes were large enough to allow the juice to pass through easily yet small enough to keep pulp from passing through. We did 40 gallons of apple cider in 6 hours. No negative issues with these bags. I would definitely purchase again!

Rebecca: I bought a few of these long ago. I just had to write a review today because I am so happy with them. These are absolutely perfect for my use. I place them into my giant canning kettle for making wine when I go to squeeze the fruit out from the initial production. I pour the initial fruit and brew into the filter and squeeze the liquid through.

Lauren: This bag held up nicely for brewing a 5 gallon batch with 10lb of grain. In retrospect I wish it had handles to make it easier to life out if the pot, but still giving it 5 stars because it works and looks as advertised.

Erica R Snyder: I generally despise reviews made before use of the item but inaccurate product description warranted it.
The bags look well constructed and the weave size should work great. Was supposed to be 18” wide and 16” tall. Was only 17” wide inside the stitching and 17.5” overall. Description says the larger bag should work with a 10 gal pot. It would only work as shown if the pot diameter is less than 10.5”. That would be one tall skinny pot. My 5 gal canning pot that I plan on using for 2.5 gal batches is 13” in diameter. My blichmann 8 gal pot is 14”. Shame on me for not calculating out the dimensions I needed first. The bags will probably work great for hops in the boil. Ordered the 26” wide bag. For the price it’s not bad.
