MKSL: It turned out to be a very nice sturdy collar. Fit Bella well and I am glad they put her name and our phone number on it as she kept loosing her tag with her info on it.

Wolfgang RiemannWolfgang Riemann: Das Halsband wurde im Februar 2022 gekauft. Nach 4 Monaten war das Namensschild nur noch schwierig zu entziffern. Nach 6 Monaten (siehe Foto) war es nicht mehr leserlich und die Naht geht ab.
Absolut unakzeptabel.
Für meine vorherigen Hunde hatte ich bei einem Hersteller in den USA ähnliche Halsbänder bestellt.
Fazit: die Namensschilder waren noch nach ca. 13 Jahren lesbar wie am Anfang.
Absolut nicht zu empfehlen !!!!

Thomas Bunch Thomas Bunch : After I followed the directions that were given to me before I ordered it, when it came in it fit perfectly! The part that goes around the neck is very sturdy genuine leather and my dog looks handsome wearing it. They got the name right and all three phone numbers correct plus the address. I am impressed! I thought it was well worth the $26 price that I paid but 5 months later while my dog was wearing the collar the loop became unattached to the sharp silver hook that must have been buried between two pieces of leather. It does look like the leather was sliced and the hole on the loop is still in tact. I don’t know if my dog was pawing at the collar or it was regular wear and tear. I really like the collar so I made a new loop with a Zip Tie.

Carolyn: Pros- leather is thick, supple and nicely tanned (good color). Metal buckle and tag is bright gold and shiny. I chose just to have a name and phone number engraved. Given the item quality you cannot beat the price.

Con: The collar has an odor and assume it was from the dye or tanning process. I expect this will dissipate over time.

Also, measure your dog carefully. The collar I received was too large. I was able to make new holes and cut off the excess leather, but I hated to make those adjustments given that the product was so nice.

Calixto Melendez: I don't know why everyone in the reviews has been saying the collar stinks. IT SMELLS LIKE GENUINE LEATHER! That's what it's suppose to smell like. Doesn't anyone know what leather smells like? That's what they paid for! genuine leather! I personally like the smell/scent because I know it's real.
My Labrador looks like such a big boy now with it on. It is a little too long for him at this time but either he will grow into it more or I will just tailor it to his neck size.
Also, when I got the package, it was a tad bit damaged and the collar was slightly bent out of shape. However, I can bend it back into place and it looks great. I think the packaging should be improved on the merchant's end....how 'bout a box in lieu of the unstable bubble wrap bag?
Overall: happy with the product! ;)

John C Hawkins: Thick and nicely finished leather with nice stitching, quality brass hardware and nice rivets. I bought two of these collars for my dogs and will say that these are two of the nicest collars that I have ever bought. My son's girlfriend bought them Coach brand collars several years ago for three times the prices of these collars and these are every bit as good - perhaps nicer and they have the personalized brass name plates. If you are looking for a really nice and durable leather collar at a reasonable price, I recommend these collars.
