TW: I got the elephant belly hugger and I have to say that this is like a little pouch of relief. My little one often has tummy troubles and when I put this on her she is soothed by the warmth of this, because lets face it, rubbing a tummy can get tiring after a long time , so this was a relief not just for my little one but for me as well. I like that this can be wrapped around to stay secured or just lay it over the belly without it needing to be wrapped around at all. This calmed by little one down and when my little older one had tummy issues, I like that my other little one can lay with this on her tummy and actually tell me that her stomach is starting to feel better. I don’t know the science behind the warmth and getting things going but as long as my little ones are relieved and calm without any pains, I am happy. I had to try this for myself, when having slight cramps, instead of using a heating pad, this worked just as well. Well worth it I think and can be used over and over again!

StephanieStephanie: This is a very useful baby item that I didn't know existed! The belt is very soft and soothing, but overall, I prefer the smaller size and more consistent heating/cooling gel pack of the  Cuckool belt I own  (see comparison in pictures).

This bebon belt IS super cute, soft, and easy to use. The insert reminds me of beanbags I used to play with in school. The fabric is a little coarse and rough, but as it doesn't touch your baby directly, this isn't really an issue. The lavender scent is pleasant, but very faint. It is not overpowering, nor do I think it will last very long with longterm use.

Overall, the belt is a safe and easy way to offer comfort to a gassy or colicky baby. It would make a great baby gift as well.

D. FowlerD. Fowler: This elephant “belly hugger” is simply adorable. I had a colicky baby and the fussing and screaming is no fun, none at all. There’s a heating pad that can be inserted into the body of the wrap. It can only be used hot, unlike one I have with a gel pack that can also be used cold. There are instructions that let me know how to warm the pack, which is filled with clay beads.

The soother or belly wrap is soft and cuddly. The way to wrap it around and infant’s body is by Velcro. If nothing else, the wrap will be a distraction. Along with a massage to the baby’s tummy, the wrap will definitely help. The wrap can be laundered, which is a real plus, but not the heating pad. Definitely would recommend this little elephant, not only for the colicky baby, but any baby.
