J.D. II: Note, I reserve five star reviews for items that far exceed my exceptions. If something does the job it was designed for well It gets four stars. Four stars is very good, five is above and beyond.

This review has three parts: the BASU alarm, Amazon, and the USPS.

For the BASU alarm itself, a solid four stars. Very nice, sturdy and sufficiently loud to get the attention you need. I liked it so much I ordered another one for my sister and have subsequently ordered five more for Christmas gifts. My only grip is that BASU seams to has discontinued this model which is a shame because the loops on both ends gives the user more options for deployment. I can hook the alarm to a backpack or computer bag and the other end to a fixed object and it my bag tries to “run away” the alarm will be tripped. Or I can loop it around a hotel room door knob with some paracord and have an impromptu room alarm. You can’t do that with models with a loop on just one end. I e-mailed BASU to ask if it had in fact been discontinued, but never heard back from them.

Now for Amazon - five stars. The second one I ordered was shipped in a timely manor but was lost by the USPS. When it...

M. E.: Bought originally in 2018, for $18.99! In two years it’s went up in price by half! Hopefully I won’t need it but glad I have them and that I bought two at the better price. On the plus side these are very easy to use, very handy you can carry it on one little finger and yank it for it’s outrageously loud alarm. I haven’t personally heard the alarm yet, but my daughter-in-law who I bought one for as a gift assured me it was very, VERY, loud! Three years later and mine is still in one piece, I will test later this week when far from town. Will update then on durability of battery! Great small device that makes a ear piercing alarm sound.

Jack P.: Asked to receive on a early date and I got it on the day I wanted it, 2 day delivery for £4 was cheap but the product wasn’t truely but I got it and it works exactly how I wanted it to, pin is not to hard to take out and doesn’t slide out neither so I think this product is worth most people getting, I use it for scaring off travelers at my dads work whenever they try to climb his fence and I also keep it on me when walking alone
