ShelbyShelby: I love this muzzle and I am grateful for this.
My dog is 9 months old, she's very sweet, well mannered, loving/affectionate. But when we go around anyone outside of the house she can be the opposite. She is very on guard around strangers & other dogs, she barks at everyone and if someone oversteps their bounds she may nip at them. I don't consider her aggressive just very reactive because she is apprehensive of everyone. I was afraid to take her on walks with me to pick my kid up from school because a couple times she nipped in kids direction when they came close. So I found this muzzle and I'm so grateful I did! It fits her great. She didn't like it all at first but quickly adapted and now she is very content in it. I enjoy being able to take her on walks and not have to worry about an incident. I can feed her treats and give her water with ease which was a leading factor when deciding on a muzzle. Straps do not loosen easily & there is a lock on the buckle which is really cool. I also discovered it has a collar loop which is nice because it ensure she can't wiggle it off. Overall this muzzle is great quality and in my case improves quality of life with my pup!

Sandro: Comprata per il cane che ho adottato al canile per prevenire qualsiasi rischio mentre il cane si abitua ad una vita fuori dal canile. Bisogna fare cura a regolarla bene senza stringere troppo il muso. Dato i vari punti di regolazione ci vuole un pò di attenzione, ma una volta fatto quello ci vuole poco a farla indossare al cane. Lascia abbastanza spazio al cane per aprire un pò la bocca e facilitare il respiro senza compromettere la sicurezza dato che copre bene frontalmente e lateralmente. Il mio cane ovviamente per adesso non la ama, ma non riesce a toglierla, ed con un semplice comando smette di provarci. Dopo circa una settimana sembra aver accettato il fatto che la deve portare e ci prova raramente. La chiusura a scatto ha un piccolo switch di sicurezza per far si che non si apra. Per concludere, facile da metter una volta a misura, non limita troppo il cane in termini di respirazione garantendo piena sicurezza. Raccomandata.

Anna WalkerAnna Walker: I got this product in a Size 3 so we could slowly integrate my dog and my roommates cat to be in the same spaces, since she sends mixed signals about them. So far, conditioning her has been great. Compared to the one we had tried before, this fits perfectly. Our previous one was so big it would push into her eyes when she took treats. I took off the strap that goes between the eyes because they don’t work well for my dog. This was really easy, no cutting needed. She’s able to take treats easily, though I’m not sure about drinking. The muzzle is secure even when my dog paws at it. If you’re having trouble with the muzzle staying on due to pawing, I suspect it could be either a sizing issue or you need to spend more time on positive conditioning. For now we only use the muzzle for 15 min per day to get her used to it, and there’s lots of training and treats involved. Without the conditioning she would immediately try and rip the muzzle off her face, or not even allow me to put it on her. I’m hoping we won’t need it for too long, but so far she seems very comfortable!

KLillyKLilly: These muzzles were recommended by my dog trainer to assist with getting my newest male shepherd to integrate safely with my other male and female. It has helped tremendously! The dogs do not like to wear them however and my shepherd seems to always figure out how to get it off - and then has managed to totally destroy the straps and buckle. There is no doubt that he’s hoping I’ll give up on it. Im on my fourth size 5 for him. I haven’t quite figured out how to warm up the muzzle to mold it better - but I’m sure I read that on the Baskerville site. I’ll be trying that again today with this new muzzle.

I make the muzzle tighter to keep them from pulling it off by putting their collars thru the loop on the bottom of the muzzle and then wrapping the buckled strap around the collar (nylon collar) once or twice (depending on tightness need) before snapping.

Clearly I have purchased this muzzle more than once - it was mostly my fault for not watching for a few minutes- giving this bad boy an opportunity to take it off. BamBoo Solutions: Nous avons adopté un malinois à la SPA : c'est un chien génial mais il est hyper-réactif à tout ce qui bouge ... c'est du sport à chaque balade.
Comme il n'est pas méchant, la SPA ne nous a pas obligé d'acheter une muselière, mais vu son hyper-réactivité à tout ce qui bouge, les agents de la SPA nous ont dit qu'un éducateur canin était fortement conseillé pour nous aider à l'éduquer positivement.
C'est cette éducatrice canin qui nous a conseillé cette muselière : comme ça on peut le lacher plus souvent et plus longtemps, ça nous rassure car ça diminue les risques et lui il est content car il est plus libre. En plus, si jamais on devait prendre le train un jour, ou chez le vétérinaire en cas de gros problème, on ne sait jamais ... il est déjà habitué à cette muselière, ce n'est pas plus mal. (Même si nous ne comptons pas la lui mettre tout le temps parce que une fois bien éduqué il n'en aura plus du tout besoin, c'est un apprentissage qui peut toujours être utile.)

Le seul truc qu'il ne peut pas faire avec cette muselière, à part mordre, c'est brouter l'herbe : et c'est dommage car il souhaiterait se purger régulièrement en...

Ida who: After 3 1/2 years of getting along beautifully, my two girls, a Siberian Husky and a GSD/Boxer mix, decided it was time to renegotiate the role of Alpha dog. They had never fought before and when they went at each other with no warning (well, I'm sure there were signs that I, as a stupid human missed) I was absolutely terrified. There is no doubt in my mind that they were prepared to fight to the death. Both dogs had to be sewn up and my hand ended up in someone's mouth when I tried to separate them and was pretty severely injured. I was in tears for two days, wondering how I was going to make it work long-term with three dogs, two of whom could have absolutely no contact with each other. They were still total lovebugs and as sweet as ever with me and with my other dog. But they wanted to kill each other. After doing some research and contacting a behaviorist, the idea of muzzles came up. I hadn't thought of muzzles, since I guess I had bought into the idea that they were for "bad" dogs. That's not the case. Muzzles can be an incredible tool. They provide a safe, fail-proof environment and allow us to work on the real issues. They let us be a happy family again.
