Michael Lofton: OK, really, what would you pay for a decent espresso machine?... 3x, 5x, 10x times? So, getting a dry puck is a bit of a challenge (dry puck? - go online to discover) - hint, it helps if you relieve some of the pressure on the steamer prior to your (espresso) pull. But even if you don't pull a dry puck, you can achieve a great espresso pull. Good idea to have a couple of double walled insulated glass/plastic espresso mugs so they fit under machine side-by-side @ 5.4-ounces ea. (order separately). You'll also want to test your grind (another research online). And the type of pack (pressure) for your pull... It takes some practice, but after some experimentation I finally got a decent pull with a nice foam extraction. It's an art form. And note that the button for the steamer does not have an indicator light, so be aware that it's in the out position when pulling your shots, or your water will be to hot. Once done, I always clean inside the drip cavity and the steamer stem. Aside, only drawback for me was that for some reason my package lacked the plastic scoop/tamper. I instead bought a higher quality metal tamper and steamer frothing container.

Disturbed68plusone: I wrote a good review of this machine after only using it a few times. I am now changing that good review to a bad one. This espresso machine only makes good espresso for about a month. The machine starts making inconsistent espresso after that. Then the machine starts vibrating every once in awhile at first then starts getting worse. first the cups start vibrating around the tray so you have to hold them in place. Then the whole machine starts vibrating around the counter. The Frother works perfectly at first then start losing pressure and doesn't froth the milk at all, just heats it up. I was worried about the design on the portafilter and basket when I first opened the box and saw it, I had every right to worry, its crap. I will be trying to send it back, I wonder how that will go. I'm thinking not very well. I have been buying espresso machine and drinking espresso for about 30 years now, so I kinda know what I'm talking about. Take from me this 15 bar pump espresso machine is worse than any of the steam and pump machines I've ever bought. This is only my opinion, the people who gave this machine a good review don't use it everyday. I'll keep you informed...

Rivers: Absolutly in love with this machine. Despite its size and price it sometimes outperforms my dads nearly 2000$ professional espresso machine.
Handy water storage with clear line of sight to see how full it is.
Perfect miniature milk steamer it rotates all the way around allowing for a multitude of different sizes of cups for frothing.
The tray is removable and then suitable for classic coffee mugs.
One you learn the machine it's a breeze to create shots apart from the typical single or double with full control over when to stop the water.
Not to mention its heats up insanely fast if you've got a puck already in the machine you can have an espresso not even 30 seconds after walking up to the machine.
Brilliant little machine. I've sold 10 of them to friends and family following my 6 month review of the system and they all love it too

Bruce: Lucky to get near steaming temp...
Pressure cup leaks at front top seal after a few seconds of brewing,
runs down handle, out past drip tray, onto desk...

First couple brews produced nice dry pucks, but from then on has liquid standing on top of grounds...
Messy to dispose.

Update: Leaking from PortaFilter has stopped, just needed to settle in and 'seat' after a few months of use, I guess. I'm tempted to give it 5 Stars, as I've gotten used to going and doing something else while I wait for the boiler to heat up. I'd like to get a naked-portafilter for it, and I've contacted mfgr - no word back yet. Was really an awesome addition to life at the homeless shelter and the staff enjoyed the occasional pull I did for them, after 9 months I'm now in an Apartment, and YES! I brought my Espresso machine WITH! Wouldn't know what to do without my shot in the morning.. lol

james : Getting really annoyed to by this product. I used it exactly one time. The machine was easy to use and the espresso was pretty good. I was happy to have an espresso machine at home since I have been working from home. The afternoon after I made my first cup, I noticed water all over the counter. Inspected the machine and realized it was leaking from the tank. Looked up why it could be leaking in the product manual and it said either the overflow was full, or the item is defective. There wasn’t a single drop of water in the overflow, so I returned the defective machine and requested another one. Everything was back ordered because of Christmas so the replacement took a week and a half to get here. Just got here today. I opened it up and it’s not what I originally ordered. Wrong model, wrong color, not what I ordered. It’s going back again. So annoyed. I just want a cup of coffee.
