nana: I can't tell how well it works because I didn't use it. As soon as I opened this press I felt the roughness of the outer surface and didn't like it at all. It's not smooth, like I thought.

Deanna: Wow, I am loving my french press. My coffee tastes fresh, authentic, and more flavorful. I've been using this press for a few months and have found paired with a hot water kettle, the press works wonders; and even keeps/holds the hot temps for a few hours.
Pros/Cons: This press only makes about 3 coffee cups. This is a pro when I don't want to drink to much coffee and only have a few cups. However this is a con when I want multiple cups or guests want multiple cups, and I have to keep remaking it.
Con: I definitely need to develop a better method to cleaning the grounds from the bottom and the wooden spoon helps as does adding a little water to help removed the grounds. If anyone knows an easier way to remove the grounds please let me know and thanks in advance.

KERRY A. ROSS: I love this french press. Its very easy to use and to clean. I followed the instructions and heat the unit with boiling water first ( keep the lid on to hold in the heat) Even after a 10 min brew time and enjoying a cup of coffee while reading ( usually another 20 min) my second cup is still hot.
The temp gage is a nice addition but zi do not think it is accurate. This does not matter much unless you really are a perfectionist and brew at exact temps.
