Tah: I am a professional Cosmetologist and I reached for my Paul Mitchell Carving tool and it was GONE!!!! I don't use anything else to cut my hair so i was quite upset. Unable to get to the supply house, I thought I'd give this a try. It did not disappoint. It feels nice in your hand. Durable and stable. The blades don't slip around or fall out as in other off brand tools. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference from it and my PM carving tool. When I find it, and I hope I do, I will physically compare them and update this review. You cannot go wrong with this hair cutting tool. BEWARE: It is very easy to cut too much hair. Be cautious and go slowly, or you might have very short thin hair quicker than you think. Overall, this is a fabulous tool to get texture, fringe and blending.

Who needs to know?Who needs to know?: okay, so I say trust the process because as I was using the chunky side that takes less hair away I got a little nervous seeing how much hair it pulled out but I kept going section by section and all I could say was wow! My hair is very thick and now it's a little less thick but still have a ton of hair left and no more split ends! My hair feels so much healthier and as I brush it only a few strands come out which normally a lot more rips out. The first photo is my hair all knotty second is brushed and the third is all the hair that came out as you can see in the two bottoms still plenty of hair left. I highly recommend getting this if you want a quick cheap easy way to get rid of your split ends plus its a lot cheaper than going to the salon to get a trim!

Kendra Mitchell: It does make my hair softer but I found that it cuts ALOT off if you aren’t careful. I wish there were instructions. Don’t comb the top as it doesn’t only cut split ends. It will fit perfectly healthy hair too. My hair is a bit uneven now as well but overall it’s okay
