Balboa Outdoor Pop Up Shower Tent: Enjoy Privacy While Using a Portable Toilet

Rain1984: We took this to faster horses with us camping. Very convenient for what we needed it for the stakes that come with it are pretty basic, I would suggest better stakes in case of wind because this does go with the wind with the stakes that comes with it. However, we got a lot of use from it and a lot of compliments.

Kristen Biehl: I bought this product so that it’s easier for my children to get changed at the beach after they’re done swimming. I imagine that my husband will also use it when he goes camping with our boys. I am fairly short, but my husband is 5’ 9” and has absolutely no problem standing up inside the tent and still has plenty of room to get changed. It was super easy to pop open and set up, although there is a bit of a learning curve at learning how to fold it back down. Images on the directions are helpful until you get to the end. I had to watch the video that was easily accessed by the QR code on the instructions in order to really see better how to manipulate the tent so that it will fold back up to fit in the case. I think it’ll take a little bit of practice to be more proficient at it, but it was not difficult overall! I can’t wait to test this thing out soon and will update with photos/video later! I’m also excited to receive the free solar shower which we received an offer for when our order arrived.

A. Delabarbara: This product was one of the more reasonably priced pop-up tents that has some of the bells and whistles that these things offer - like the windows (and not just screens but the ability to open the window up all the way as well), towel hanger, etc. I personally chose this one due to not only the price but the ability to completely open the top window to hang a solar shower (from an external tree, etc.) The quality is decent for what it is, and I found the process of take-down to be easier than one of the other (cheaper) pop-ups that I also tried out. The only issue is that if you are planning to be in windy conditions, you'll have to purchase an additional 4 stakes to secure it from falling over in the wind. (It comes with 4 small stakes, but those are really to secure the bottom of the tent to the ground and to the removable floor.)

Having said all that, I noticed there was a tear in the carrying bag, which as someone else on here mentioned is not the most durable (but really, how far are you carrying this thing lol)... Acts2:38bornagainActs2:38bornagain: Me, my wife, and 3 year old daughter bought this for our 1st overland style camping trip in the San Isabel national forest. We stayed a couple days in the snowy Colorado forest and it was very nice to walk in this small tent and take a warm shower. It's nice to have the zippers in the back to run hoses through or power cords to a solar generator. I found it to be too small at the top. As I showered I kept hitting the edges of the tent and got my towel wet while showering. Of course I could just put the towel outside but that defeats the purpose of the towel hanger inside the unit. Other than it being too tight quartered at my shoulder height (5'9" athletic build) it was nice to shower in the middle of the snow in a warm room with warm water. We will be adding a raised bamboo type floor in the future since my feet were freezing while the rest of me was warm. Overall I like it but wish it was maybe 6" wider at the bottom and 4" wider at the top. I think those small adjustments would be a nice improvement.
