greg: Besides receiving an used product, the dip station is well built, holds the weight well 185lbs 6’0, and is easy to setup and move around. Not too heavy.

One of the problems for those searching for a dip station is that it may be too wide. I particularly like narrower stations and this is a bit too wide for me. Besides all cons I would keep the station if I could adjust the gap.

This is a genuine review and a point for improvement. This one is going back.

dropptonhed: Very stable unit, great value. Just know going in the grips are very wide set, and may be challenging for some initially. Grateful to have purchased this, much better results than standard width bars.

MEMMEM: This is a very sturdy piece of equipment, well-priced and easy to put together, but admittedly I didn't read the reviews closely enough. As other reviewers have said, it is SUPER wide, and for a person with an average frame (male, 5'9), it was really too wide to be comfortable and I think it would be a recipe to destroy some shoulders. As my picture shows, I was able to attach a few rubber resistance bands that I had here in the home gym, and doing that pulled the handles in from 24" to a very comfortable 21.5". I was able to fix the issue this way, but I think that as is (unless you have a very large frame and wingspan) I would recommend looking at a dip station with an adjustable width and steering clear of this one. I hope this helps!

trbizwiz: This is a great dip machine. Its actually my second bar. I had one of the loop style bars, and it worked ok, but it was a little low to the ground, even at the highest setting, so it was difficult to get full extension.
This machine goes together fairly easily, and it comes with the tools needed, though it would be faster with real tools.
The bars are set a little wide, and this could put your shoulders in a bad situation, if you go too fast. I have previously injured a shoulder from doing dips too fast, so I am acutely aware of the danger. For me the wider grip is a subtle reminder to mind my technique. I really like the potential height for this bar. It allows me to get full extension, and I do a knee raise at the end which allows me to get full shoulder rotation, which really seems to put extra emphasis on my upper chest at the top of each rep.
I am 210 to 220 and about 6'0" tall (short legged). This machine feels stable and durable for my size. I love the setup, and I am glad my son talked me in to giving him my previous loop bar. I keep this at my office and I hit dips about every 1.5 hours. ITs a nice little refresher from sitting at my desk. My wife appreciates...

Mido 1.83 y por la altura curvo un poco las piernas pero me permita hacer un buen fondo, en la parte superior me gustaría que sujetara las agarraderas otro tuvo por en medio O que pasé por los huecos adicionales en las agarraderas para obtener más estabilidad para evitar esa apertura pero se puede desempeñar bien el ejercicio

Kevin Halligan: I hate dip stations with angled handles. If I want angles I’ll use my gymnastic rings. Other reviewers have also claimed this is very wide. I don’t find it to be so and it’s width actually recruits more of the upper body as opposed to isolating the triceps. The dip isn’t an isolation move. It has been called “the upper body squat” for good reason. I find it comfortable and it can handle a tonne of weight.
