Heather Johnsen: This mat is huge when its rolled up and doesn't fit in any typical yoga mat carrying bag. But I don't care because for the first time ever, I can do yoga poses that involve my knees and not beg for mercy. I no longer have to use a blanket under my knees, or fold up the mat for extra cushion. This 1 inch thick yoga mat is a THICC goddess.

Annie: This is my second 1-inch-thick Yoga mat from this company. I have back and feet issues. I don't do Yoga per se, but I work out with 10 different routines put together by my personal trainer (with some weights and bands). I also have assignments from my physical therapist (core and back strengthening & stabilizing exercises/stretches). My mats get regular use, and I am not a small person. The indents from different stances and positions diminish. I find these mats are easy to clean, and while they may be a little bulkier than the 1/2-inch-thick mats, it is worth it to me. I also like the assortment of colors offered. An unexpected bonus was using these mats to cushion an area of hard flooring for visiting grandchildren. I have always used my mat on a larger area rug (both thin and thick), so I cannot speak to how the mat works directly on bare flooring. But I have used our mat on a thin area rug over concrete flooring. It still provided excellent cushion. I know having a 1-inch-thick mat makes working out much more appealing to me than my old 1/2-inch Yoga mat.
