Paul: Gee, I'm so happy with this saw. I read lots of reviews first so I knew this was a quality item. This thing is excellent and if you're after a decent bow saw look no further. The included dry blade cuts extremely well, not much effort required at all. The hand guard is really great too. Ergonomic and effective. The blade protector is made from plastic. One side folds down so you can slip it off. So we'll thought out. Don't hesitate buying this saw you won't be disappointed. With minimal maintenance this saw will last you many, many years I am sure.

KCMA: I needed to cut through some downed trees too far away for my electric chain saw. I need to cut them into manageable sizes to drag/carry closer to the house. So far cut through several 8"-10" trunks, and many 5"-6" limbs. I wasn't sure what to expect (a lot of work hard work!) but it was much easier than I thought. I chose the 24" inch size which was a good fit for me - 51 year old woman, 5'3". So glad I purchased this!
Blade is easy to tighten, blade cover easy to put on (once you flip it open), handle comfortable to hold. Great size. I also like the bright orange color - makes it easy to find when I have laid it down somewhere!

Eric Peterson: I can't say enough good things about this saw. I had a Corona 24" bow saw with a green wood blade that had started binding during cuts. I decided to replace the blade with a Bahco blade but wasn't sure the replacement would fit the Corona. Since it wasn't an expensive purchase, I bought this saw with the dry wood blade. I have lots of red oak deadwood that I am processing into firewood. This saw was the right choice! With the peg tooth blade cuts are almost effortless in dry red oak. In case you're wondering, I bought a new 24" raker tooth blade for the Corona as well, it fits fine. This saw will save me from fooling with a chainsaw for lots of occasions and will provide some exercise as well. I am very pleased! A final word, stay away from the Chinese junk bow saws for sale in the big box stores. I took a look at what Home Depot and Lowes were selling now, but it wasn't the quality of the Corona saw I purchased there just a few years ago. There were some replacement blades for green wood but they looked suspicious as well. I don't see how you can go wrong with one of the Bahco bow saws.
