rachel strickland: My 5 year old will be able to use this for a few years. I got one for my 10 year old. I would recommend buying this brand but full size for 10 and older. Although my kids are taller than average kids. But definitely great for 8 years and younger. My 10 year old still is comfortable as long as it's not camping all night.

RachLuv: The hammock arrived at it was described. The straps and fabric of the hammock are well made. My 7yo and 4yo daughters can put the hammock up themselves. They love the rainbow pattern and sitting/swinging in it . They liked it so much I bought two more for our neices.
