NSCNSC: The stand is a little bit flimsy at the part where the pelvis attaches to the stand. It doesn’t stay securely attached to the stand on rod.

The joints don’t move as freely as I thought they would. It would have been nice to be able to move the scapula too. I’m going to try to unscrew the scapula and see if it moves.

The bones seem accurate but the joints don’t articulate as well or accurately. If it was $50, I would understand but for $100 I would expect a little more out of such a small Skelton model.

Soph: This is by far my favorite Amazon purchase! It’s the perfect size for studying! It doesn’t take up too much space but you can still clearly see everything. I wasn’t expecting the skull to come apart and was considering buying a separate skull for studying but I won’t need to so that’s a huge plus. And you can’t beat the price. I would recommend this to anybody who is taking anatomy courses or in a rad tech program.

jessica lafalce: I bought this model for price and size. I found it very useful to teach anatomy to yoga students as well as a reference for my private clients. However, for no apparent reason, one leg popped off after 7 months of having this model. I slid the platform from one spot to the next (in a class) and the string connecting the femur to the acetabulum just popped off its metal clasp. There is no way to fix it and I will be returning it, hopefully for a new model. Other than that, I've really enjoyed this skeleton although it does not easily articulate at the spine.

Cthulhu: The media could not be loaded.  The skelly was provided by Axis as a 'for review' item.

And it's quite impressive if we don't factor 'size' which is about 3 ft. tall. But that's Okay because most bones are there which should make it good teaching material. Our daughter who helped me set it up is in fact planning to donate it to her school because she will actually be taking anatomy this year and she knows that the school couldn't afford to purchase a skeleton replica because supporting the sports teams is so much more important.

Before I post her thoughts, I would like to note that, even without an assembly guide, we were able to put it all together in about 15 minutes. It's not that complicated but a one-page 'manual' would have helped. That being said, here are our daughter's thoughts of the skelly. By the way, she named it 'Friend'. I know...
