Joe Wood: Overall I was not happy with the unit, and ended up returning, here are my thoughts.
CONS:
THERE IS NO PLACE FOR AIRBAG LIGHT. In the design of the unit they omitted the place for the passenger airbag light I guess to allot for a bigger screen.
THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS, Which to me wasn't a big deal, I've done a lot of radios, but instructions would be greatly helpful for actually using the unit. I could never get my cell phone to work with it. I even bought the adapter they sell to use the wireless airplay but couldn't get it to work.
Additionally, I was thinking of this as an upgrade to the value to my car, however, with how not user-friendly the unit is, I'm sure the next owner would have no clue how to set up their phone, so it loses value for that.
NO BUILT-IN WIRELESS CAR PLAY
I had to purchase an additional adapter from them. That adapter came with instructions to download an app to use on the unit, however, to download it, you needed to go to a direct IP address noted on the instructions. I attempted to, while connected to my 5G 300mbps home wifi, and it was downloading at kbps. The download kept failing or estimating it would take 6 hours to...

Mack WickensMack Wickens: First off, the unit is a great idea for the money if it delivered on what it says it will. Sadly, the specifications they share in their product description are wrong.
First off, the screen. It says it is 1280x720. It's not. The actual resolution (as shown in my pictures) is 1042x600. This may not seem like a big deal, but it is. It completely messes up the UI and makes the downscaling for their CarPlay app look horrendous (See the second picture's icons for "Go" and "Voice").
Secondly, the processor they advertise is wrong. It is still an 8-core processor, but its speed is significantly less than what they market. They say that it is a Unisoc SC9863 but is actually a Unisoc UIS8581A. They are relatively close in performance but the advertised SC9863 is newer and does outperform the previous chip.
Lastly, this isn't part of the lies in their marketing, but the screen feels very plasticky, is a fingerprint magnet, and has an intense glare (See last picture). Just something to be aware of, but to be expected for a budget option.
It seems as if it is possibly they shipped me the wrong product, but if it happened to me, it will happen to others. I'm lucky...

AinAin: You get amazing value for the cost of this unit. The 4GB RAM version has no lag whatsoever and everything functions the way it should. Having an android unit built in also allows you to do some cool things with apps like running the Torque app to monitor your car's metrics and vitals or if you have hondata with Bluetooth you can connect that as well.
This is a superb product you can install to bring your 8th gen civic into the modern age!
I'd like to give a shout-out to the seller namely Sue for providing great support in promptly answering all my questions!
Note: If you're replacing the old unit with premium audio and navigation there are some extra steps you must take to make the steering wheel controls and audio work. In your nav secondary 22pin harness/connector you must splice the light blue wire(amp on) into a power source to get the audio working -- I used the antenna wire positive. For your steering wheel controls to work you must splice the pink wire (audio sw +) in the same 22pin harness to the key2 wire on the headunit and then you must ground the brown wire (audio sw -) to your chassis; I used a bolt right behind where the head unit mounts. This...

Kalvin Chan: Bought this few months ago, install was fine, everything went well....months later it started to have a mind of its own and start glitching and pressing random station. Very annoying. Don't buy this. I can't return it.

Bucktoothjoe: Radio tuner keeps going into TA search mode, three or four times a day.
Every time I drive by a cell tower it thinks it's getting a phone call and doesn't even have a SIM card in it. Then it starts flashing on the different windows that are open in the background. These incidences are becoming more and more frequent.
Sound quality is actually good. I have it hooked up to external amplifiers. It's unfortunate that it only has a single stereo RCA output therefore no fader with amplifiers. Add to buy an EQ for that.
Netflix will not load onto this device it doesn't meet whatever their requirements are.

Amazon Customer: Supports CarPlay, easy to install, relatively cheap. All great. Problem is a few things:
CarPlay connectivity is spotty at best. You can’t plug your phone in prior to the car starting, otherwise it won’t connect.
USB maximum power output is 2.5W which is barely enough to keep your phone up. I imagine in a long trip with GPS running, your phone could end up discharging overall.
Display is okayish. Surprisingly handles daylight well, but is alarmingly bright at night (even at lowest) and contrast isn’t great on a sunny day.
Overall, I feel like I can’t complain. The company’s email is very responsive and I’m sure if someone had an issue, they’d be able to help. The thing is so damn cheap for a head unit WITH housing WITH antennas WITH wiring harnesses that it really can’t be beat. The only thing truly missing is instructions, but anyone even mildly tech savvy could probably figure it out.

Cameron brown: good product for the price, very easy to install took me about 40 minutes, touch screen works great all the apps work perfectly! Only fitment issue I had was with the emergency 4 way blinker slot was a little bit bigger than OEM, other than that awesome product! Also arrived earlier than it was expected

Tim: ...You will need to splice a light blue wire in existing harness with the blue antenna wire. A radio installer friend says it is better to splice at the same wire right where it plugs into amp - maybe I should have taken his advice. I understand it is pretty well plug and play without the Premium Audio System
Pros:
Nice Big Screen
Clear Video
Tech Support via email
GREAT SOUND
Cons:
Pathetic Installation Instructions, the picture was not even the same unit
Equally pathetic attempt at a users guide - I have found features that should be included and are not. The 'flow charts" and I use the word loosely are brutal. And again not the same screenshots.
Still having issues with reverberation on the other end and a time lag when using phone/carplay- blue wire location?
If connected with bluetooth and a phone call comes in the volume goes to full blast. I have tried adjusting in settings as tech instructed - blue wire location?
I am sure there is more I can add to both pros and cons. I would like to try one in my 2007 civic, but it's my winter beater and I don't spend money on that old thing!!
Anyway I am still playing with it for the...

JtJt: Picture a really cheap android tablet that has car play and android auto. Like that it's Bluetooth, but doesn't always like to connect to my phone automatically. Dash part is a perfect match to stock
