Amazon Customer: I don’t know why it took me this long to get into the comics, but I’m glad I finally did, because it’s truly enjoyable.
The artwork is fantastic, the story is solid, you can truly feel the emotion through the comic… it’s just great all around.
The only negative I have is that it didn’t invoke the same level of emotion in me as the TV show, but that is to be expected, considering the difference in format. As previously stated, it still did invoke strong emotions in me, which is impressive for a book to successfully achieve.
9/10, do recommend.

MM: My son hasn't read "The Promise" yet but he's already salivating for it after reading "The Rift" and in the process of reading "The Search".
Great reward for good behaviour 👍
100% worth it. He sees the imagery on the spine of the books when put together and he's hooked!

JJ Arguello: I purchased the Avatar: The Last Airbender--The Promise Omnibus as a gift for an avid Avatar fan. It was a hit! The book arrived quickly and in perfect condition, delighting both the recipient and myself.
The omnibus collects parts 1-3 of The Promise, providing a seamless continuation of the beloved series. Aang and his friends face a new conflict that threatens the delicate peace between the four nations. The storyline is enthralling, and the artwork is stunning.
For Avatar enthusiasts, I highly recommend the Avatar: The Last Airbender--The Promise Omnibus. It's a must-have addition to any collection, offering a comprehensive and captivating continuation of the series. Whether you're a devoted fan or new to the world of bending, this omnibus delivers a satisfying and engaging reading experience.
In summary, the Avatar: The Last Airbender--The Promise Omnibus is a fantastic gift choice. With its prompt delivery, excellent condition, and compelling storyline, it exceeded expectations. Immerse yourself in the next chapter of Aang's adventure and get ready to be captivated once again.

L: If I can't have the continuation animated then this the best way to do it with the original artists and story line intact. I'm not crazy about everybody kissing---serious oogiesville!
I love the conflict that Zuko and Aang deal with and the eventual resolution which you and I can see but they can't because they're too close to it. Good way to slide in Ozai, evil though he is and SO glad to see Uncle Iroh! It broke my heart that Avatar Roku was fire nation nonetheless and that Aang sadly but rightly cut ties. Did not expect that but it had to be done. Gonna work on The Search now, cannot wait!!

gerrit1690: This is a wonderful new story that is doing the highly acclaimed TV show justice. If you feel down after you've seen the final episode, simply continue with this comic. It's almost like watching the fourth season.
I admit I wasn't a huge fan of comics in general, but that was before I gave this one a shot, since I wanted to know how the continues with the characters that grew close to my heart. Not for a split second did I regret spending my money on it. And after finishing this chapter, I will definitely continue with the next one.

Aaron LAaron L: I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to get the next one.
This review will be spoiler free. This book takes place immediately after book three, so if you haven't already, go watch the Avatar the last Airbender on Netflix.
This book does a good job on making you feel like you're still watching the show, the characters still act how you'd expect and the things that happen in this story actually make sense. It doesn't feel like a forced issue that was created JUST so the writers had something to work with. The art is amazing and there are a few pages of concept art in the book of the book in case you were wondering.
The book is 9 inches long, 6 wide and is a little under half an inch thick. (For reference those chess board sqaures are 2.5 inches) This is just like the library edition but it's way smaller, the exact size of the original there parts. You won't miss much if you don't get the library edition, the omnibus edition still has all three parts of the promise. The only thing you won't get are the annotation from the library edition, in my opinion they're not much of a selling point for me anyway.
This book earned 5 stars from me, the story was...
