elizabeth holshouserelizabeth holshouser: The media could not be loaded. I’ve gone through several batteries in order to keep all the cats amused. It would be nice to have an auto off feature but can’t beat the price

Alesya Tkachenko: The two white parts don’t hold the balls in place and it falls apart but the cat loves this toy for the short while the balls are actually in the cylinder

Linda in Dixie: My boy just lays down a few feet away and watches it go round. The only time he ever batted at it was when I turned it off. Glad I didn't buy spare butterflys... oh well.

Valerie: Ça marche bien mais ça rend un peu les chats fous donc à utiliser avec modération. On ne peut fixer qu’un seul papillon et les 2 autres sont des rechanges.

ME: Our cat always chooses to play when we're trying to eat dinner and/or relax after dinner. He only bats around his floor toys for a certain amount of time & then gets bored & craves engagement, & if he didn't get it he would start acting up & being naughty. We tried to engage him & get him to play at alternate times, but nope he only wanted this playtime. So we'd always have to stop eating dinner or get up from relaxing after to constantly toss or roll his toys or fling little toys we had tied string to to make them 'run' across the floor so that he could chase something actively moving etc. This toy gave him the engagement & motion he craved & we now have our evening back- win, win! We are several months in & this is still his favorite toy. We like that not only does it rotate, but the butterfly flutters. We'll leave it on for an hour or 2 in the evening & he loves to alternate tackling the moving butterfly with batting around his other toys- it really filled in what he needed perfectly. We use rechargeable batteries. He couldn't care less about the balls in the track- the moving butterfly is the ticket for him. The only thing is if you have a...

T DogT Dog: Found it to be a very engaging toy for our cat - getting great value for money from it. Great for distracting the kitty for 10 minutes if she/he is demanding and you just need to have breakfast :)
Probably not sturdy enough for extended periods of play with an energetic cat, but better than I was expecting for the price. Replacement bugs and wires are helpful, the first still works but was bent within the first 5 minutes.
Not particularly noisy, either.

T: POWER - This toy takes 3 AAA batteries, which can get pricey after awhile and has to be turned on and off manually. I wish it was rechargeable! They is no motion sensor. The constant motion can desensitized a cat to its excitement and if left on a long time.
SOUND - The motor sound might scare a skittish kitty, buy others don't even notice it.
REFILLS - 3 butterfly refills are included total. They can also be purchased seperatly, with 5 for $10.
SIZE - It is in the smaller size, which all kittens would love, but adult cats could be too big to get their paws in and to push the balls in the track around. They did love the butterfly, but only the more low key / docile personalities had the patience to keep wanting to play with the flying butterfly part. The higher energy kitties lost interest kitties and so it all depends on your cat's personality.
