R G: Easy to install, providing you do not hang fan BEFORE you install the blades. I'd pay a kings ransom and throw in a private part to watch someone hang the fan, THEN try and install blades like the directions say...good luck with that!
I read reviews where they complained about a low hum from the day of the install? Mine is whisper quiet.
(After 10 months, fan is still quiet other than the occasional clunk from the imbalance, see below)
I read reviews where they complained about a "chemical odor". Yes, this fan does have a weird smell to it, but I don't think it will last long and for me, it's installed in the garage so I'm not too worried about it.
(Just as I thought, weird smell lasted a couple days max, then it was completely gone)
Pros: Fan moves a fair amount of air, has a nice modern look to it, easy to install, with the exception of the blade issue, has a nice bright light set up and is reasonably priced.
Cons: Fan balance is HORRIBLE out of the box! I tried every blade and only got it to balance ok when I used 1 weight all the way to the blades edge on one blade, and then the the same on the very next blade. Even then, on high she rocks a...

ChristineM: The fan looks great in our outdoor pergola. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because we decided we wanted lower wattage bulbs but cannot get the glass off to change it. We are afraid to break the glass if we force it.
